1/ So after a while bunch of updates at @Vertalo_ , we released a new V-token smart contract suite formatted on #tezos today.
2/ now y’all know that #defi is crazy hot. So many transactions happening on @UniswapProtocol (thanks for the airdrop!) and all the various DeFi liquidity pools, farms, etc. It’s super exciting.
3/ But #eth gas prices are going parabolic. And so smart contract minting prices are much more like omakase #Sushi than they are street vendor #hotdog
4/ If we issued this @Vertalo_ VToken smart contract - a very elegant smart contract - on ETH right now, it would cost $900. !!!
5/ However, by issuing it on #tezos, the @Vertalo_ VToken gas price is more like $11. !!! And the cost of trading it is even less.
6/ As more equity offerings, supply chains, and other critical data is managed using DLT, it’s important to think about transaction costs as part of TCO.

The team @DealBoxinc just migrated from the @StellarOrg chain to @tezos using @Vertalo_ ‘s digital transfer agent and cap table tech. Now for a thread 👇👇👇

2/ Blockchain is often referred to as Distributed Ledger Technology, aka DLT. Bitcoin, Ethereum, and @tezos are DLT platforms. Some like @hashgraph are called Directed Acyclic Graphs (DAGs). They are all ‘open state databases’ per @balajis balajis.com/yes-you-may-ne…
3/ So-called Open State Databases enable millions of people to read and write (with requisite permissions) to them while maintaining a high confidence in the integrity of the data (credit @balajis)
