The attention of Chain Reactions Nigeria, The Temple Management and TBWA Africa have been drawn to an unfortunate conversation in some sections of the online media regarding the recently unveiled logo

for the Nigerian Diamond Jubilee Celebration (Nigeria at 60) by President Muhammadu Buhari (GCFR).
Few hours after the unveiling of the Nigeria at 60 anniversary Logo, myriads of reviews poured in from different stakeholders across the country as expected.

As envisaged, the views expressed are symbolic of our diversity as a nation. In fact, it captures what we are celebrating. The theme of the Diamond Jubilee Anniversary, TOGETHER, is all about how we have stayed together as a people despite our diversity.

This isn’t surprising as major brands and government initiatives have undergone barrage of condemnations and commendations in times past. Are we surprised? No.

campaign strategy and the logo for the Diamond Jubilee celebration pro bono. In the past, you would have heard that the Nigerian government engaged the services of some foreign agencies for some nerve-cracking and ridiculous sum of money.

Interestingly, the emptiness of this narrative lies in the fact that peddlers perhaps do not understand the meaning or they feigned ignorance so as to drive their usual hatred for the Nigerian governement.

Rehabilitation of Secondary schools, the building of prototype classrooms and resuscitation of abandoned classrooms in projects in 38 schools.

Paid N127 Million as bursary/scholarship awards to over 4,000 students in Tertiary Institutions.

The way Bayern pressing the ball so high up the pitch is very scary.

The pace in that team is frightening particularly on the wings with Davies and Kimmich making the pitch twice as big as it actually is.

In Lewandoski, they have a cold hearted assassin in front of goal.
The technicality of Muller is often overlooked by most football lovers and analysts but Thomas is such an important player in the Bayern set up.

His movement into space draws defenders in and creates time and space for wide players.

And Thiago, I have no words
Thiago is such a beauty to watch, tidy on the ball and with an eye for a pass, he is your dream midfielder.

Hardworking and carrying a goal threat, he is such a tricky customer to stop.

Many don’t rate Boateng but his partnership with Alaba is so balanced.

If society accuses you of cutting corners to attain wealth, it’s because your rise to affluence is questionable.

Nobody will accuse Dangote of fraud or Ibukun Awosika of prostitution.

I was at a conference where one of the richest women in this country was a guest speaker
She was asked how she acquired so much wealth and she gave a very Nigerian answer “ By the grace of God “ and that was it.

This doesn’t cut it. We know how Gates made his billions, we know how even Escobar made his.

Spare us the “ Grace of God “ bullshit.
I once worked for a multi billionaire in this country and he was accused of stealing government funds.

Naturally, I wanted to help clear his name and I began asking him the same questions

How did you make your money ?

His replies were shallow and lacked any convictions
