Wen made a distinction between the “behavior” of participants at protests compared to rallies.
“It does not care why it is that people are gathering, but it does care about the conditions under which they're gathering, so outdoors much safer than indoors, wearing masks, obviously, much safer than not wearing masks, ...
... and I also, in this case, would distinguish between the behavior of the participants while at protests versus rallies,” Dr. Leana Wen told CNN’s @PoppyHarlowCNN Harlow and @JimSciutto about the spread of the coronavirus.
Wen continued: “At protests, many people are aware of the risks and are doing everything they can to reduce that risk, versus at many of the rallies we are seeing people going in defiance. It's their behavior during those events.
I also worry about what they do after the events. They may not be self-quarantining and testing as then getting tested as they should be.”
WTF kind of bullsh*t is this? The only point she made is that she in her opinion, everyone who attends a Trump rally is an idiot. There is NO medical or scientific basis WHATSOEVER for her to make such ludicrous statements.
She’s simply couching her personal political opinion as a science and fact-based opinion, which is highly irresponsible.

Remember the heady days of 2020? Progressives trained by the richest universities in the land suddenly had the chance to remake America in their image, the way they had always dreamed of doing.
The result was so obvious and crushing a failure that one is no longer supposed to talk about it.
Four years later, the power elite have discovered that their cosplay revolution is seen as merely ridiculous. Minority groups don’t want the new names that have been issued to them.

Overall crime in New York City dropped in 2023 over 2022; we’re still the “safest big city in America,” as Mayor Adams boasted recently — but that’s cold comfort when we’re still far behind 2019, the last year before the destructive effects of our criminal-justice “reforms” made themselves visible.
Consider car thefts: 5,438 in 2019; 15,802 in 2023.

In a 9-0 decision, the Supreme Court ruled states cannot use section 3 of the 14th Amendment to kick Donald Trump off state ballots over his alleged “insurrectionist” actions on Jan. 6, 2021.
Learning that state officials aren’t empowered to simply toss leading presidential candidates off ballots came as a great surprise to many incredulous left-wingers.
