@CarolineDombro2 @DavidHarrisAJC I cannot recall offhand if @AJCGlobal has ever claimed we are only “Conspiracy Theorists” spreading a myth about the attack on our ship.

1/8 As many have found, it is a long row to hoe to support the proposition that we are presenting the attack on our ship as part of a grand conspiracy at the highest levels.

We present the facts of the attack. Of what happened to us.

2/8 And what has followed every attack on a US Navy ship since the end of WWII—a Congressional investigation—but has been denied the attack on the #USSLiberty.

3/8 Had the attack on our ship been investigated by Congress 53 years ago as it should have been, it would now be a simple footnote in history books—if that.

4/8 We lay the fact that Congress has not investigated the attack on our ship directly at the feet of Israel partisans in the US who have been successful in ensuring the attack on our ship not be investigated while claiming the attack was a mistake or an accident.

5/8 Clearly an oxymoronic position. But an oxymoronic position we are forced to live with.

We are not allowed to have anything resembling closure. We don’t know why we were attacked.

6/8 We don’t know why we were ordered abandoned while we were still under attack and calling for help.

We are not allowed to have closure.

Neither have the families of our 34 shipmates who were killed during the attack.

7/8 25 of them died as a direct result of LBJ ordering the recall of the rescue aircraft.

Why should we be made to pay the price for what Israel partisans claim was an accident or a mistake?

Shouldn’t they be in the forefront demanding a Congressional investigation?

8/8 Why aren’t they?
