@/KrisandJoeShow and @/MightyKreskin are harassing and trolling in the #ActuallyAutistic tag. They're both allistic, and insisting as parents of an autistic child that it's their god-given right to invade autistic spaces. They're also mocking self-dx.
I blocked @/MightyKreskin for accusing Rebecca Watson of lying about a cishet man in an elevator inviting her to his room at an atheist convention. His reasoning was that if she were telling the truth, she'd name the guy. Google elevatorgate to see how disingenuous he was.
@/MightyKreskin also tweeted that anyone who can use Twitter isn't #ActuallyAutistic

If you see these two around please report them.
Oh and @/KrisandJoeShow took the autism quotient online and scored 36, so she insists she's autistic based on this. I strongly support self diagnosis, but I do not support opportunistic use of an easily biased screening tool by an autism parent to take over our hashtag.

Why did I have to stumble across this

Lots of people defending this as not transphobic, that she "uses likes as bookmarks" etc. I'm not buying it.

Also the article fails to distinguish transmisogyny, which is what this is about.

So trans people are stepping up to say zebirdbrain isn't transphobic. But...both of these guys are guys, and she liked transmisogynist tweets attacking trans women. Why do trans guys get to litigate what counts as transmisogyny?
This is why people flattening transmisogyny into transphobia is bad, we get nonsense like this where men are elevated as the deciders of what counts as bigotry against women.

The current backlash against trans people and our human rights is on a large scale similar to the very hostile and sometimes violent reactions individuals have had to me asserting boundaries about being trans or asking for better less discriminatory treatment.
Like this has always been present to some degree on many different scales and for decades medicines purpose was to prevent us from being us and when they started allowing us to be us they did so in the most restrictive ways they could. We've never not been facing genocide.
And even more marginalized groups of trans people have faced more explicit violence especially at the intersection of racism and transmisogyny. Many of us have Said for years that this meets to stop that it will lead to much worse. I wish we've been listened to.

cis people and tbh a lot of trans people need to sit down and reconsider their opinions on surgeries they'll never want or need.

To be clear, @bloomfilters is correct
One of the (not the only or biggest) reasons I moved a thousand miles is to get more FFS covered than Washington was willing to do.
can't count how many misapprehensions I've seen from people about why we get surgeries. Like I've seen needing bottom surgery compared to wanting to lose weight due to internalized fatphobia and uh that's not it at all.

The maleness assigned to trans women, whether labeled explicitly or such or "AMAB" used as a very transparent fig leaf isn't about biology or anatomy or socialization or privilege but an ontologically evil state trans women and transfems are expected to eternally atone for.
Calling us male is an expression of power, an exploitation of transmisogynist systems, intended to control our behavior and limit our options. It's to punish us for others' violence. It's to permanently render us second class women.
Maleness, just like femaleness, is not inherently good or bad. But when it's forced on TMA people, it becomes a corrupting, toxic pollutant that destroys our bodies and renders us violent rape werewolves to be constantly monitored and punished.

I'm increasingly not a fan of standpoint theory because I've seen people say some fake BS, usually in service to their own preferred bigotries, but at the same time I really feel like the vast majority of TME people really do not have the capacity to understand our oppression.
To be an ally and cis one really needs to be a gender traitor and especially a traitor to cisness, and that means stop grouping trans women and transfems with cis men. We are two separate groups with different experiences, lives, and needs. Our material positions are different.

Whenever a white cis woman talks about needing white cis men to defend her from scary anybody my instinct is to look for the exits
A few years of violent ideation from white cishet weirdos angry about bathrooms will do that to a girl.

Actually I kid I've seen these women call for cis men to protect them from trans women for decades.
I want nothing to do with this nonsense, we should look for ways to deal with societal problems without carceral solutions of state-sanctioned or any other kind of murder.
