この一連の報道、本当におかしい。
　資料に記載の「2025年9月」に類する記述は【完全な実施完了が見込まれる日付】（"Estimated Completion Date for Full Implementation" )であって、「回答した年」ではない。その日付は"9/30/2025" 即ち「2025年9月30日」。
　こう実施完了年に回答する訳がない。 Image
この報道、初報が打たれた時から検証しているが、国防省（現戦争省）は、少なくとも2023年公開の資料で、全く同一文の回答を行っている。これは現在も公開されている情報なので、政府もマスコミも誰でもアクセスできる情報。その回答日は「2017年4月5日」。

これまで、国防省の“最終回答“が2025年9月だったと画像付きで報じたのは、把握している限り沖縄タイムスとTBSのみだが、いずれも回答日を具体的に示さずに「2025年9月」と報じている。沖縄タイムズに至っては、左の画像を貼るのみで“回答“の全容すら示さない。右のTBSの報道で初めて全体が示された。 Image
