This video from Gary Lamb was RT'd by Trump and these conservatives are hyping it up big time. He credits Tim Pool @timcast for opening his eyes. I watched the whole thing. And there is not a single bit of substance in the entire video. He claims Trump helped him. How? 1/3
Lamb: "The reason I was doing pretty good last year was Trump because the Democrats never gave me shit." So @timcast, what exactly did Trump give Gary Lamb? He never says so in the video. Oh, his personal story of overcoming adversity is moving. But nothing else is there. 2/3
This video is the kind of stuff Trump and his #MAGA folks hype up. But dude talked for nearly 10 minutes and didn't say a word about what Trump has actually done to improve his lot in life. Not. One. Thing. 3/3

I see that @TIAreports is defending @NABJ’s decision to invite Donald Trump to speak. I could ask her some questions but she has me blocked. So y’all go ahead and RT these.

1. Tia, how did @NABJ create a panel of journalists to question Trump and not invite one male journo?

If @NABJ did a panel of all men, I doubt Black women would be quiet. Answer that @TIAreports.

2. I respect @semafor, but they are barely 2 years old in October. How is @NABJ in Chicago, a city with a rich Black Press history, and not invite ANYONE from Black-owned media?
Last question for @TIAreports, why would @NABJ allow @HARRISFAULKNER on a panel when her entire network is in the tank for Trump; the CEO Rupert Murdoch was involved in his VP search; AND they paid a $787 million settlement for advancing Trump’s 2020 election lies?

Since @davidaxelrod @jonfavs are two of the loudest folks calling for @JoeBiden to drop out, I need them to answer a questions: Do either of you have any experience navigating a brokered convention? If so, please tell me how that played out, and how your party won in November?
To @davidaxelrod @jonfavs: Since you want @JoeBiden to drop out, are you publicly backing @KamalaHarris as the nominee? If not, how do you deal with the loss of infrastructure already built and developed?
To @davidaxelrod @jonfavs: If true party elites like yourself and rich donors push @JoeBiden out, what do you tell the average Dem voter that their vote matters? They are the ones who picked him in 2020 and in the 2024 primary.

My Texas A&M Aggies @tamu @aggiefootball just beat the South Carolina @GamecockFB team and the winner gets to keep the “Bonham Trophy,” named for Alamo battle hero James Bonham, a native of South Carolina. No football player, especially ANY BLACK ballplayer, should EVER hold 1/4 Image
this trophy or take a photo with it. And shame on former Gov and Texas A&M graduate for even commissioning this damn trophy. Why? Because the fight at the Alamo was over SLAVERY. Mexico abolished slavery in 1837, and was not happy when the Texas settlers kept expanding it. 2/4
Santa Anna wiped out the pre-Confederates at the Alamo, which was a church where slave auctions were held. All Texans are required to take Texas History in the 7th grade. They conveniently left all of this out of that big ass textbook we had to read. 3/4

Too many of us have only listened to the last 2 minutes of MLK’s “Mountaintop” sermon on April 3, 1968 at Mason Temple in Memphis. He SPECIFICALLY called on Black people to use economic withdrawal against companies that refuse to do business with us. #BlackOwnedMediaMatters 1/11 Image
What we must do today w/these ad agencies is follow MLK and @RevJJackson and “redistribute the pain.” For far too long they have been allowed to screw over Black-owned media companies. They use phrases like “brand safety” yet ads show up on @FoxNews. #BlackOwnedMediaMatters 2/11 Image
But MLK didn’t speak in general terms. He SPECIFICALLY called out companies that Black people should not support. We must call out ALL of the brands that give their money to these agencies and let them know that we are not satisfied! #BlackOwnedMediaMatters #ImNotSatisfied 3/11 Image

ATTENTION ALL BLACK HIGH SCHOOL ATHLETES: DO NOT sign with Texas A&M University @tamu unless they apologize and reinstate their offer to graduate Kathleen McIlroy. I’m also calling on Education @SecCardona to launch a civil rights investigation into the university. 1/4
Enough is enough. As a Black Texas A&M journalism graduate, I am appalled by what the @tamu Board of Regents has done. Texas A&M recruited a UT professor to revive its journalism program, then backtracked after “DEI hysteria” via @TexasTribune 2/4texastribune.org/2023/07/11/tex…
It’s clear that Texas A&M @tamu loves DEI on Saturday afternoons. They don’t mind Black athletes making them millions, but a Black A&M graduate isn’t worthy of being respected. What they done to Kathleen McIlroy is beyond disrespectful. It’s degrading and despicable. 3/4

True story: When I was at @CNN, I did a segment with Heidi Phillips and another guest. We were discussing Trump. I blasted him and said anytime he comes on the air we have a crawl that says, “This is for entertainment purposes only.” EVP Ken Jautz sent me an email saying NOT 1/4
To criticize Trump when he was coming on our air. He’s still there. I often told booker Stephanie Kotuby that is was wrong for @wolfblitzer to keep interviewing Trump. I was told he always rated well. When @BarackObama gave a speech, @piersmorgan had Trump on to respond. Even 2/4
Though I was Told not to criticize Trump when he was on CNN, I did it anyway. I asked CNN execs why we kept going to Trump for a CEO’s response to Obama policies. I said to call a real CEO of a real company! But CNN execs AND anchors all loved allowing Trump on the air. 3/4
