My Texas A&M Aggies @tamu @aggiefootball just beat the South Carolina @GamecockFB team and the winner gets to keep the “Bonham Trophy,” named for Alamo battle hero James Bonham, a native of South Carolina. No football player, especially ANY BLACK ballplayer, should EVER hold 1/4 Image this trophy or take a photo with it. And shame on former Gov and Texas A&M graduate for even commissioning this damn trophy. Why? Because the fight at the Alamo was over SLAVERY. Mexico abolished slavery in 1837, and was not happy when the Texas settlers kept expanding it. 2/4

True story: When I was at @CNN, I did a segment with Heidi Phillips and another guest. We were discussing Trump. I blasted him and said anytime he comes on the air we have a crawl that says, “This is for entertainment purposes only.” EVP Ken Jautz sent me an email saying NOT 1/4 To criticize Trump when he was coming on our air. He’s still there. I often told booker Stephanie Kotuby that is was wrong for @wolfblitzer to keep interviewing Trump. I was told he always rated well. The reason you find it hard to believe is because you don’t understand the reality of Black-owned media today. First, there are VERY FEW Black-owned media who have actual reporters. That’s plural. It comes down to resources. #BlackOwnedMediaMatters 1/8 In the advertising industry, $322B is spent annually. Black-owned media gets .5% of that. That’s ALL Black-owned media. If you assess what is covered, it’s mostly sports and entertainment. And a lot of this is opinion. Not actual reporting. 2/8

I’m on a plane reading this trash @nypost article viciously attacking @TiffanyDCross. It is obviously a story planted by a so-called @msnbc source to destroy her name and reputation. But it’s a bad hatchet job. The “source” was too dumb to even realize it. I’ll explain. 1/17 First, the “source” tries to offer 6-7 reasons why @msnbc didn’t renew @TiffanyDCross contract. They allege she wanted to burn the building down; she spent lots of money on expensive hotels; wanted more office space; and on and on and on. This is LAUGHABLE. 2/17

I’m from Texas and am still registered there. @BetoORourke’s run for the US Senate did more to help Dems down ballot than 1/5 Even @BarackObama in 2008 and 2012. It’s easy to sit in Arizona @MeghanMcCain and suggest that @BetoORourke running is a waste of time & money, but you literally have no clue about the impact it has had for voter mobilization and down ballot fundraising. This is why y’all should stop listening to fools who can’t read. Fools hollering that Hispanic Serving Institutions got more money than HBCUS, to the tune of $11B to $2.7B, in the American Rescue bill. Now ask why? Because there are 103 HBCUs and 411 HSIs. My alma mater 1/5 @TAMU Texas A&M is an HSI. A&M is 55% white. to be an HSI, you must be 25% Hispanic. What’s dumb is that the money going to HSIs are really majority white colleges. And Blacks go there too.
