THREAD: Last night, Senator Roger Chamberlain lied through his teeth about his promotion of a fascist manifesto, so we’re here with a thread of #receipts.
First, Roger called accusations he promoted a horrific manifesto slander and said they'd been retracted. #mnleg
That's false.
The Minnesota Reformer story covering Chamberlain's promotion of a racist, fascist manifesto is very available here.
The story details Roger's promotion of the Bronze Age Mindset, a book replete with "neo-fascism, racism and misogyny." minnesotareformer.com/2020/08/24/a-f…
For more information on exactly why the book Chamberlain has been promoting, the Bronze Age Mindset, and its author, the Bronze Age Pervert, are so vile, check out this thread by @Luke_Turner. Be warned, it’s not pretty:
The book Chamberlain has been promoting is full of racism, sexism, homophobia, Islamophobia, anti-Semitism and violence. It’s tough to stomach, but it’s core theme is a rejection of equality and democracy in favor of militaristic, fascist rule.
Of course, Chamberlain can’t defend his promotion of the Bronze Age Mindset given the vile and hateful ideology it spews, so he pretends he never did it. Luckily, we’ve got the receipts. Chamberlain has been retweeting Bronze Age Mindset promotions for a while now 👇🏽👇🏽👇🏽
Lest you think the tweets above are isolated, here are more that demonstrate a clear pattern of Roger Chamberlain retweeting, enjoying, and promoting things related to the Bronze Age Pervert and the Bronze Age Mindset.
Here’s the thing, if this all sounds bizarre, that’s because it is. The author’s strange identity, the “Bronze Age Pervert” is designed to deflect criticism. The Bronze Age Pervert addressed the situation with Chamberlain on his podcast, where he says the following:
In last night’s interview, Roger tries to ignore this by saying that reading a book doesn’t mean you endorse it.
This is true. But when you read a *fascist manifesto* and tweet and retweet about it constantly, that is an endorsement. You're actively promoting vile ideas.
Chamberlain then compares criticism he's facing to censorship and restrictions on speech.
Two points. 1) Criticizing the ideas Roger promotes is not restricting free speech, it’s practicing it. 2) We’d @ Roger here, but this great critic of censorship blocked us 🧐
Chamberlain also pretended he’s never promoted a fascist manifesto online. Instead, he says his Twitter is full of “art, architecture, beauty, and women.”
Two more points. 1) Women? What does that even mean? 2) There’s a lot more on Roger’s Twitter feed, which we’ll get into.
Roger has retweeted slurs, endorsed a tweet calling Bill Gates a “pedo cuck”, endorsed COVID-19 denial & QAnon tweets, and retweeted a post about an anti-COVID-19 salad recipe.
Bronze Age Pervert aside, Roger's Twitter is not above serious scrutiny.
Roger did say one true thing about his promotion of a fascist manifesto: no other media outlet has picked it up.
This is a shame. A sitting State Senator is promoting dangerous, violent, and hateful ideas and people need to know. Retweet this thread and help us spread the word.
Needless to say, Roger Chamberlain and his dangerous “mindset” do not belong in the Minnesota Senate. To learn more about his DFL opponent, @justinfor38, and to help his campaign, visit justinstofferahn.com. #flipmnsenate

BREAKING: this weekend at the @mngop convention, @KimCrockettSOS played a video that portrayed George Soros, a Jewish man, as a puppet master who is secretly controlling Minnesota's elections.
The "Jewish puppet master" is a longstanding and deeply anti-Semitic trope.
The stereotypes @KimCrockettSOS is using to fuel her campaign are centuries old and have caused incredible harm to the Jewish community both here in the United States and across the world.
Minnesota Republicans have chosen their most extreme and dangerous candidate to lead their party in the fall. We can’t allow Scott Jensen to become governor. #mngov dfl.org/press-release/…
Scott Jensen has promised to ban abortion, even for victims of rape and incest.
THREAD: We're demanding @mngop Chair @davidhann root out the dangerous political extremism that's taken over his party.
Time and time again, Minnesota Republicans have cozied up to violent extremists. It has to end. Here's just a few recent examples: dfl.org/press-release/…
Just yesterday, an MN GOP leader embraced the Oath Keepers, a violent, right-wing militia.
Numerous members of that extremist militia have been arrested and charged for plotting and carrying out the attempted January 6th insurrection. propublica.org/article/oath-k…
While this story is shocking, the GOP's embrace of the most extreme elements of the far-right is not w/o precedence. Just today it was revealed that State Senator @MarkkoranMN is raising money for men charged in the Jan 6 terrorist attack on the US Capitol minnesotareformer.com/briefs/gop-sta…
It is abundantly clear these Republican Representatives don’t want to know whether the January 6th insurrection was pre-planned and who was involved in that planning because they are scared of the answer.
By voting against holding Steve Bannon in contempt of Congress for refusing a subpoena, these Republican Representatives are abdicating the responsibilities of their office and trying to take the teeth out of Congress’ ability to investigate criminal behavior.
