The politicians and pundits signifying that Catholics are some sort of monolithic voting block is hilarious. Please God do a basic Google search on say... the teachings emphasized by the Franciscan order vs Opus Dei.

Also—FYI for the media, like a member of Congress, you can find a Catholic priest to literally say anything. That’s how many there are and how diverse their views are. You could find one to defend the Spanish Inquisition & one that makes Che Guevara look like a right winger
