The reflexive X Y axis of being turned off by Trump's behavior being directly correlated to education and class is why so much of the white left is ignored by actual activists and Black organizers.
Trump's behavior is problematic to many "working class people" assuming your definition of working class isn't exclusively white. In fact many white working class people have plenty of bad experiences with rich bosses/landlords who treat then like crap just like Trump
The whole thread above is a fancy grad school way of dressing up economic anxiety, which was NEVER Trump's appeal but an idea that the white left refuses to abandon.
My "working class" HBCU students thought Trump looked like an idiot. My working class white students in the Midwest mostly thought there is a line between "steamrolling" somebody and talking like an angry drunk at a sports bar and Trump crossed that line
Lastly, the Telemundo poll wasn't scientific, so instant reactions from self selected audiences aren't exactly the best way to punctuate your point that Trump "won" anything. Nobody changed their mind after last night's debate even if now they claim they did

Raffensperger blatantly lied. The average time to vote in Georgia was NOT less than 5 minutes. He IMPLEMENTED voter suppression laws ensuring majority black district voters had much longer waits npr.org/2020/10/17/924…
@GasSecofState actively used state government agencies, courts and police to harass and intimidate voters and organizers. The fact that HE suddenly got a small taste of that harassment thanks to Trump doesn't make him a sympathetic figure.
Finally getting to the final season of #Ozark - Much as I love the actress who played her, you'll never convince me that an African American actress couldn't have played Ruth and given this already great show a whole other dimension
Oh wow, didn't expect the Killer Mike guest appearance ! #OzarkSeason4
I feel like Javi Elizonndro on #ozark and Lalo Salamanca on #bettercallsaulseason6 are basically the same character
The idea that a white single mother of a bi-racial child is angry about an anti-racism curriculum....in CHARLOTTESVILLE ....So she's suing the school, is too much nonsense for this early in the morning
The @GreenfieldRIV school district fired teacher Kim Morrison - after parents who DIDN'T have students in her class - Complained that she was teaching #CriticalRaceTheory with a worksheet for the YA novel "Dear Martin" by @getnicced
@GreenfieldRIV is one of the whitest school districts in Missouri w/ 7% minority enrollment compared to the state average of 29%. It's also one of the poorest PERFORMING school districts with below Missouri average math/reading and graduation rates. But #CRT is the problem?🤔
Morrison actually taught the award winning book #DearMartin for years and it was never a problem. But thanks to racist fervor over the hoax of #CRT in the classroom the school board did not renew her contract. salon.com/2022/04/13/fir…
Much of the conversation over the last 2 weeks about stand-up comedy & mean comics has mostly revealed how little standup most people consume nowadays. To say most standup is mean or angry is like saying all 90s rap was gangster and violent. Perhaps diversify your comedy diet?
There are plenty of high profile comedians who don't poke fun at their audiences, or really 'punch down' at any particular group. Just there were rappers in the 90's who weren't grossly misogynistic - they may not get the same air play but it existed and was available
I really enjoy John Mulaney's comedy, he literally spends most of his shows making fun of himself. Mike Birbiglia is a fantastic storyteller, same with Jim Gaffigan or early Kevin Hart. All big names, all funny, none of them are particularly 'angry' or punch down
SCOTUS makes history w/ #KetanjiBrownJackson ascending to the bench. However I maintain that the system of nominating & confirming judges to SCOTUS is broken and her exceptional qualifications don't cover up the corruption & malfeasance that placed her recent predecessors there
If a secret ballot of Senators was taken before the hearings , and revealed after today's final vote the results would likely be identical 53-47. Nobody changes thier minds during confirmation hearings, "swing votes" like Ben Sasse are mostly playing at being undecided for TV
McConnell will NOT hold SCOTUS hearings for any future Democratic presidential nominations if the GOP holds the Senate, a precedent that will be followed by ANY GOP Senate leader from now on. SCOTUS is now in a constant state of reputational and constitutional crisis
