Plez, @azharaslam sir I think you need to brush up ur historical facts as it's showing dingy now. Let me enlighten some of your dimness with my sober capacity as a staunch learner of history.🙏🙏
1.Sir,first of all Chhatrapati Maharaja Shivaji is not only the rulers of Hindus rather he formed the genesis of the Maratha Empire. In 1674. He was the 'Chhatrapati' ( emperor) of his realm like what Alamgir was for Mughals.
So, as an emperor he's the leader of all people who settled in his kingdom irrespective of any caste-creed-religion.
2. Chhatrapati was not adhered with any communal atrocity like what Alamgir did with Hindus. Even staunch critics of Maharaj couldn't point a single incident.
3. FYI, there were so-many talukas ( village-clusters) which were muslim dominated in 'Swarajya' but were never discriminated like imposition of 'Jizya' by Alamgir in 1679.
Dr. sahab,I think for u Jizya is a secular tax.Isn't it ?
4.There were few muslim generals in the Maharaj's army .
Do you know who was Siddi Hilal & Darya Sarang,Noor Khan Baig, Kazi Hyder,Daulat Khan--who were these guys?..
I can give u the details but I think first u need to search the details before asserting Maharaj with anything.
I can only say that if he was a emperor of Hindus only , how could it possible to get those muslims high ranks in his army ?
5. Yes, Maharaj had a conflict with them be it his own treacherous Maratha-clan leaders, or be it Mughal plunderers who were destroying our culture .
He had a long struggle with AdilShahi Dynasty & Mughals to establish his ' Hindavi Swarajya (Indian self-rule)' .That was not an idea of kingdom based on religion like what Alamgir dreamed for 'Dar-al-Islam'.
7. So, probably you right when you said Alamgir was merely a emperor of Muslims though he had a ruler of a Hindu dominated realm.
Though in my view a ruler couldn't represent an entire religion.
Even in Islam there are various ramifications.Alamgir merely supported the 'Hanafi' school of thought then how could he represent the whole community.
Actually, it was an animosity against Hindus made Alamgir a hero of a community if at all you consider him.
8. Chhatrapati was not only a great king actually but also a legend. He was the saviour of 'Indian culture' from invaders in that time. So, if @majorgauravarya mentioned the name of maharaj that wouldn't show any communal angle from any side of rationality.
Hazaar-o saal-o me koi ak Chhatrapati jaise paida hota hay unhe ak mamuli emperor se compare nahi kiya jaa sakta..
I think now, some of ur haziness would obliterate.🙏🙏
What do you think guys??

After going through the discussion I was getting a sense & I'm elucidating it by abstracting the words of legendary Journo W.Cronkite..(1/2)

via @YouTube
'I think being a liberal, in the true sense,is being nondoctrinaire, nondogmatic,non-committed to a cause- but examining each case on its merits... I think most newspapermen by definition have to be liberal;if they're not liberal, by my definition of it...
..then they can hardly be good newspapermen. If they're preordained dogmatists, they can't be very good journalists..'
This mere differentiation is clearly visible in todays media & even in the video. Where @fakharzai7 bhai is ascending in the tracts of journalism...

@Arzookazmi30 jee,
This latest rally of Maulana is the direct outcome of MBS's aggressive agenda to intervene in local politics. You know better than me how the Saudi influence has been enrooted in your socio-religious & politico-religious spectrum.

Commemorating a relation b/w Student & teacher in today's #TeachersDay..
In this picture Dr. Abdus Salam, renowned Pakistani Nobel Laureate came to meet his Bengali professor Anilendra Ganguly, who had taught him mathematics in the pre-partition era at the S.D College,Lahore. ImageImage
Dr.Salam had credited Ganguly for instilling the interest towards mathematics in him, which, he believed, led him to become a scientist.“The teacher was feeble and unable to sit up and greet him when Dr Salam visited him at his residence in Kolkata on 19th January,1981.
Dr Salam took his medal &said that ‘Sir,this medal is a result of your teaching & love of mathematics that you instilled in me,’ & he put the medal around his teachers’ neck,” writes Zia H Shah MD, a New York-based physician and Chief Editor of the Muslim Times, in this article.
