Conley, at a Walter Reed presser, says Trump has "continued to improve." He says Trump has had "two transient drops in his oxygen saturation."
The oxygen drops made him "concerned about rapid progression" of Trump's illness.
He says the president is now on dexamethasone. Dexamethasone "is used in the treatment of many conditions, including rheumatic problems, a number of skin diseases, severe allergies, asthma, chronic obstructive lung disease..." and other maladies. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dexametha…
Conley says Trump's health is improving and he could be discharged by Monday. "The fact of the matter is he's doing really well."

Ten doctors at Walter Reed discussing Trump’s health. Dr. Conley says they are “extremely happy” with the president’s profess. Image
Trump is going to stay on a five-day remdesivir treatment.
Trump’s not on oxygen. They say he hasn’t been in it at all today. Reporter doesn’t follow up if he was on it last night. Dr. Conley says he doesn’t anticipate Trump needing to go on oxygen this week. Won’t disclose “specific numbers” about Trump’s fever.

“He doesn't have a birth certificate. Now, he may have one but there's something on that birth -- maybe religion, maybe it says he is a Muslim. I don't know. Maybe he doesn't want that. Or he may not have one.” - Trump on Obama, 2011
“When Mexico sends its people, they’re not sending their best. …They’re sending people that have lots of problems, and they’re bringing those problems with us. They’re bringing drugs. They’re bringing crime. They’re rapists. And some, I assume, are good people.” - Trump, 2015
“Look at that face! Would anyone vote for that? Can you imagine that, the face of our next president? I mean, she's a woman, and I'm not supposed to say bad things, but really, folks, come on. Are we serious?"  - Trump on Fiorina, 2015

"I'm the best thing that has ever happened to Puerto Rico" says Trump, who:

- Responded too late to Puerto Rico's disaster needs; thousands died there.
- Tossed paper towels to a crowd during his only appearance there.
- Pondered “trading” Puerto Rico for Greenland.
He also threatened to veto a $4.7 billion emergency aid package intended to help Puerto Rico recover from a series of damaging earthquakes. washingtonpost.com/us-policy/2020…
And he held a grudge against our fellow Americans in Puerto Rico, apparently because he didn't like all the bad press he received for ignoring the island's needs and challenges: bloomberg.com/opinion/articl…

From Bob Woodward's new Trump book: Trump told Woodward that he knew the coronavirus was "deadly" and worse than the flu while intentionally misleading Americans that it was otherwise.

"Woodward writes that Kushner advised people that one of the most important guiding texts to understand the Trump presidency was 'Alice in Wonderland.'"
Trump admitted to Woodward on March 19 that he deliberately minimized the danger of the coronavirus. “I wanted to always play it down,” Trump said.

1/x: Trump will campaign on his ability to resurrect the robust economy he inherited and then helped derail. Ivanka is pitching this now too. #RepublicanConvention

Let’s look at some metrics:

1/2: Per ⁦@Fahrenthold⁩, the NY AG’s case against Trump relies on his submission of “Statements of Financial Condition” and inflated assets to lenders to get $$$. Trump produced an SOFC during my litigation with him over “TrumpNation” and... washingtonpost.com/politics/new-y…
2/2...that SOFC was problematic. Trump’s own accountants wouldn’t sign off on its accuracy and the document didn’t comply with generally accepted accounting principles.

Amazing if Trump was getting loans and insurance using a similar document.

And may suggest why Eric bailed.
“The filing said that Eric Trump had been scheduled to be interviewed in the investigation in late July, but abruptly canceled that interview. The filing says that Eric Trump is now refusing to be interviewed.”
