Didn’t hear back 4m @_YogendraYadav after I shared 👇specific example he asked for a leftist abetting communal riots. Much more systemic one would be that of CPI ideologue & leader Gangadhar Adhikari ‘s Pakistan & National Unity (1943) supporting ML’s demand 2 partition India:
Support from the Congress Right Wing for Muslim League’s Pakistan demand came even earlier than 1943, Rajagopalachari (right after ML’s demand in 1940), G D Birla (Cong RW’s sponsor actively worked towards partition of India even before ML formally demanded it in March 1940)
They would all be guilty of abetting the massive communal riots that Muslim League was Party to on the Pakistan Demand. Ram Manohar Lohia’s book on shared responsibility for partition, The Guilty Men of India’s partition is a good read+

BJP-RSS had formed a committee to implement Clause 6 of the Assam accord. The committee was hugely cheered on by @swapan55 . The report of the committee has just been made public. It spells death knell for Bengalis of Assam. Thread+

Went through this biography of P. C. Joshi, Gen Sec of CPI pre 47. Most interesting part was how he was humiliated in the party he built through betrayal of India’s freedom movement ia801209.us.archive.org/23/items/P.C.J…
The other mildly interesting part was the allusion to the slandering culture in politics by Joshi’s biographer & claim that Joshi was above it. Certainly not. Joshi was the slanderer in chief. Recall the cartoons on Subhas Babu, all done when he was editing People’s War Magazine
The book also talks briefly about how peer pressure is used in politics. After P. C. Joshi was suspended from CPI, his wife Kalpana Joshi (nee Dutta) was pressurized to publicly castigate him. She didn’t.But then most of his close comrades deserted probably under similar pressure

What is common between Govind Ballabh Pant and P. C. Joshi ? Let’s see if there is any history buff in my TL.
Answer: Both Pant & Joshi are from Almora currently in Uttarakhand, went to Allahabad University, close to Nehru, served as instruments of British imperialism at Tripuri Cong & helped thwart the Quit India Subhas Babu proposed in 1939
The above also show how small social & familial cliques from the same region control power across parties with seemingly disparate political ideology & collude with imperialists

Difference between a scholar and a propagandist. A scholar studies a topic he speaks on comprehensively and includes all facts, including those contradicting his thesis. A propagandist cherry picks and vanishes when facts contradicting or diluting his thesis are put out.
