By the way, good morning to all of my followers, who I hope are having a good morning.

My morning has been unusual, to say the least.

I opened the back door and my neighbor’s 130-pound (59kg, folks!) Rottweiler ran inside.

Now, this is a scary dog.

The dog is so scary that this all happened an hour ago and yet my heart is still hammering.

But the dog is also very, very nice. No barking or biting, thankfully — this time, anyway. Ah-haha.

I was trying to come up with the ultimate S***h D****n-esque plot for a hypothetical YA novel.

I think I’ve got a solid-gold idea.

Meet Hope.

(We can rename her, if necessary. I think Daisy would be an equally charming name.)

Hope is about to start her senior year of high school.

Last year, she went to a small private school. This year, things are going to be different.
