Fascinating sociological discovery. Wanted to buy a book shelf so went to MG road (Delhi) on Sunday. Driving from Gurgaon to Delhi the right side of the road has really high end furniture stores, about 30 of them over a couple km. House of XYZ or Nirvana Homes type 1/n
names & farratedaar english type people to show you around. Left side has more mid-level & carpenter type stores. Went to 7 of the high end stores, NOT ONE BOOK SHELF. They had stuff like wood sculptures, beds, tables, plush chairs but NOT A SINGLE book shelf. Across the 2/n
road first shop i entered had about 12 options. Interesting no? n/n

The final part of our latest #NLsena project (series of 3 pieces by @kaul_vivek) Thanks all #NLsena members who contributed. You guys are the reason we can do stuff like this. A way good journalism will survive - together as #NLsena

What is #NLsena? Its when NL subscribers who can afford to contribute more than the standard subscription for a report that we put up on our sena page. These reports need time, money and resources that are significant. Here's another. You will see why.

Since the brilliant "journalists" at Swarajya have abandoned reporting & often copy-paste nonsense from bile-bins like Opinida, & at times twitter rants, I figured they'd update their report based on what was put on twitter since that is as far as their reporting goes. 1/n
This dumb piece made claims based on a twitter rant (ace journalism clearly). Not that the geniuses at Swrajya asked for a response from our reporter (Reporting 101, which is what we had actually done to the Zee employee which was called out as “not showing us in good light” 2/n
& "harassment" 😄 by the dim desk that wrote this piece. Clearly different understanding of journalism.) but @Basantrajsonu put the facts out on twitter calling out the Zee employee's lies which has met with expected silence from him. But also from the “journalist/s" who 3/n

Channelling my inner Anand Ranganathan. Here is a response. Kyunki aaj hum bhi thode velle hain. Someone please copy paste for him since he blocked me during his last Newslaundry related outburst. 1/n
Arre yaar Anand. Amused twitter users just alerted me to a vile, slanderous, abusive rant... ok, basically your normal communication on twitter. The piece is full of delusions about yourself. My response to your melodrama, & usual hysteria (dude seriously). WNDTT 2/n
You have claimed some NL insider informed you there was chatter about taking down your pieces. Your past association with NL notwithstanding, voices in your own head don't count as "NL insider". Only 2 people here have the authority to remove anything from NL & neither of us 3/n
