The NIH defines "encephalopathy" as follows: "Encephalopathy is a term for any diffuse disease of the brain that alters brain function or structure. Encephalopathy may be caused by infectious agent (bacteria, virus, or prion), metabolic or mitochondrial dysfunction, brain tumor
or increased pressure in the skull, prolonged exposure to toxic elements (including solvents, drugs, radiation, paints, industrial chemicals, and certain metals), chronic progressive trauma, poor nutrition, or lack of oxygen or blood flow to the brain.
The hallmark of encephalopathy is an altered mental state. Depending on the type and severity of encephalopathy, common neurological symptoms are progressive loss of memory and cognitive ability, subtle personality changes, inability to concentrate, lethargy, and
progressive loss of consciousness. Other neurological symptoms may include myoclonus (involuntary twitching of a muscle or group of muscles), nystagmus (rapid, involuntary eye movement), tremor, muscle atrophy and weakness, dementia, seizures, and
loss of ability to swallow or speak."

This study found that "[Covid-19] patients with encephalopathy were independently less likely to experience favorable functional outcome." onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/10.1002/ac…
This means that Trump's complete medical records while in the hospital and, now, under care in the WH, should be released and that, once he has recovered, he should be given a battery of tests measuring cognitive and neurological functioning."

A short story for a Saturday night, "The Masque of the Red Death" by Edgar Allen Poe.

It starts: "The 'Red Death' had long devastated the country. No pestilence had ever been so fatal . . . ."
Prince Prospero, "when his dominions were half depopulated, summoned to his presence a thousand hale and light-hearted friends from among the knights and dames of his court, and with these retired to the deep seclusion of one of his castellated abbeys.
This was an extensive and magnificent structure . . . ."

"It was towards the close of the fifth or sixth month of his seclusion, and while the pestilence raged most furiously abroad, that the Prince Prospero entertained

If anyone doubts that the Trump Administration is, to its core, dishonest, read this: "The C.D.C. removes guidance acknowledging the virus is transmitted mainly in the air, days after posting it." nytimes.com/2020/09/21/wor…
Then, read this from the Proceedings of the National Academy of Sciences. "We have elucidated the transmission pathways of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) by analyzing the trend and mitigation measures in the three epicenters.
Our results show that the airborne transmission route is highly virulent and dominant for the spread of COVID-19. The mitigation measures are discernable from the trends of the pandemic.

I have uploaded the opinion in the case out of Washington State enjoining the Postal Service from making changes to its procedures. It is a short opinion, only 13 pages. You don't have to read the entire opinion, only that portion beginning on page 9.
In fact, all you really have to do is read this paragraph:

"Although not necessarily apparent on the surface, at the heart of DeJoy’s and the Postal Service’s actions is voter disenfranchisement.
This is evident in President Trump’s highly partisan words and tweets, the actual impact of the changes on primary elections that resulted in uncounted ballots, and recent attempts and lawsuits by

127 Stanford Medical School faculty members, "infectious diseases physicians and researchers, microbiologist and immunologists, epidemiologists and health policy leaders," sent an open "Dear Colleague" letter
calling "attention to the falsehoods and misrepresentations of science recently fostered by Dr. Scott Atlas" a medical advisor to Pres. Trump.

The letter listed five statements supported by a preponderance of data that contradicts statements and opinions issued by Atlas.
The letter was met by a threatening letter from Trump's attorney, Marc Kasowitz, claiming that the statement in the Stanford letter makes statements that are "abjectly false" and has defamed Atlas. The Kasowitz letter threatens legal action.

Of course the Trump Administration is filled with liars. Why do you ask?

The U.S.D.C. for Colorado issued a TRO against the U.S. Postal Service finding that:
"The Notice [distributed by the U.S. Postal Service per Postmaster General DeJoy] provides false or misleading information about the manner of Colorado's elections by stating that voters should '[r]equest [their] mail-in ballot
(often called 'absentee' ballot) at least 15 days before Election Day' and 'mail [their] ballot at least 7 days before Election Day.' In reality, Colorado voters do not need to request a ballot at any time. Voters who receive a ballot do not need to mail the ballot back

I have posed the amicus brief filed on behalf of the Court in the Flynn matter. The first paragraph says it all:

To describe the Government’s Motion to Dismiss as irregular would be a study in understatement.
In the United States, Presidents do not orchestrate pressure campaigns to get the Justice Department to drop charges against defendants who have pleaded guilty—twice, before two different judges—and whose guilt is obvious.
And the Justice Department does not seek to dismiss criminal charges on grounds riddled with legal and factual error, then argue that the validity of those grounds cannot even be briefed to the Court that accepted the defendant’s guilty plea.
