A good example, from the ROTJ sketchbook: an early concept by Nilo Rodis-Jamero for the Lambda-class shuttle (SW6) became much later the GX1 short hauler. First in SW RPG, then totally canon thanks to The Clone Wars and Rebels, before appearing in SW9 (under the Ghost).
