I think everything we have filed in the Flynn case has been good, but today's...

Please take time to read it! It is important, not just to @GenFlynn, but also for every American who believes in "justice for all" and in the longevity of our Republic.

@SidneyPowell1

THREAD
During the hearing on September 29, Sidney revealed she asked the President not to pardon General Flynn. He deserves full exoneration and the American people deserve a functioning justice system. Her point here is critical to the case:
The brief highlights that the attorneys Sullivan tapped to continue the prosecution of Flynn have massive and striking conflicts. This includes the fact that Gleeson’s partner David O’Neil (on Gleeson's amicus brief!) represented Sally Yates!
…and that Andrew Weissmann, a top lieutenant on the Mueller investigation—whom Gleeson met years ago when the two worked together in New York—remains a friend of the court-appointed amicus: 👀
…and that Beth Wilkinson, Judge Sullivan’s personal attorney when the case went up to the D.C. Circuit on mandamus, represented four of Hillary Clinton’s staffers—defending them after the server-scandal was revealed:
Wilkinson’s connection becomes even more alarming when considered in light of this week’s revelation from @DNI_Ratcliffe that Hillary Clinton “approved the plan to create the fraud of Russian collusion that provided the pretext to frame General Flynn.”
There are a lot of other excellent points in this brief, including a discussion about the letters that attorneys for both Strzok and McCabe separately (and very improperly filed), and you should read it all. It's a page-turner. But I am going to close with these final thoughts.
The court, the msm, seemingly the entire world, has closed its eyes to the exculpatory evidence that the Jensen review produced for Flynn. This same evidence shows there was an attempted coup—an attempt to oust and destroy @realDonaldTrump. Flynn's case is at the heart of it all.
If you understand this basic point, you understand the Flynn case, and you understand why his exoneration is opposed so fanatically at every turn. This should terrify us all—the will of the people under assault, our judiciary weaponized to further a coup, an ongoing coverup...
Americans need to know the truth, and then we must fight to restore our Republic. First by reelecting Donald Trump, and then by encouraging him root out anyone in authority who would subvert our Constitution and imperil the health of our nation to further their own personal ends.
So, please do read the whole brief, available at Sidney’s website here: sidneypowell.com/the-michael-t-…

Finally, shout-out to @abigailcfrye whose energy in the homestretch last night and this morning fueled us all to get this buttoned up and on the docket.💫

Trump won the debate last night. Biden did better than expected, although the expectation was he wouldn’t be able to string his sentences together, so... Trump really was laser focused and aggressive, which was great. And he had great facts to hit Biden with.
I’d only tell Trump to dial it back to an 8.5 from a 10. He needs to be aggressive! He was debating both Biden and Wallace last night; the questions were framed for Biden; and the Left and msm tried to spin it all negative, e.g. the question about condemning “white supremacy”...
...Trump immediately said yes, yet they all pretend he dodged the issue. Trump has to get in there and aggressively stand up for himself. We are long past polite, congenial politics. Look at the coup the Left is ignoring. They will do anything to win. The fact that Trump is...

Yes, but you have to be worse than “a partisan” to look the other way on this. I am a partisan—not a blind partisan, but a partisan. But, I am also an American who loves my country and the Constitution. These despicable and amoral people attacked the heart of our Republic...
...They subverted some of our most cherished political values that must be inviolate for self-government to work—the sanctity of the vote and the peaceful transition of power. Democrats didn’t do this in 2000/2004 when Bush won. Republicans didn’t do this in 2008/2012...
...when Obama won. A lot of us are partisan. The Left has shifted. These people are intent on winning, no matter the cost—even if the cost is the very country they are so desperate to control. There is a reason the term Trump *Derangement* Syndrome was coined...

Watching POTUS's press conference and a journalist just asked Trump to commit to a peaceful transfer of power. He didn't even say, *if* a transfer is needed. They are just so insanely arrogant. This mindset that Trump shouldn't be there and no one supports him is bizarre.
Trump's response that "well see about that" is spot on. Democrats are doing everything in their power to steal this election. Everything. They are destroying our system and corrupting the integrity of the vote and the voice of the people.
And yes, there is a lot of irony hearing Democrats talk about peaceful transition of power, when they attempted a coup against Trump, concocted corruption scandal, tried to eject him from office via impeachment, and have even threatened further impeachment efforts.

I am a conservative who supports limited government, obviously.

I also agree with comments Justice Scalia made before he ascended to the Court that conservatives aren't proactive enough when in power.

The President is constitutionally justified in this pro-America action.
Earlier this year, the Supreme Court decided a case in which an organization challenged a government policy that requires foreign organizations to articulate a public stance against prostitution and sex trafficking to receive federal funds from one of our aid programs. Cont...
The Court determined that *foreign* organizations must comply with this policy or forego the U.S. funding.

Justice Thomas wrote a concurrence in which he made an excellent point that is good to consider in the context of this dust up about the 1776 Commission.

When I was in law school, I looked around at all the kids who were calling the Founders racist old white men in my ConLaw class and knew it was only a matter of time before they'd want to rip up the Constitution those men created.

Here we are.
Exactly, Arlen. They weren't gods, just people. Remarkable people—well-educated, thoughtful, courageous. They had their flaws, but they compromised to create the greatest system of self-government ever devised by man.

Meanwhile, @Disney has filmed near camps where the Chinese have impriosned Uighurs. We all know they are being subjected to horrors. Where is the outrage? We've been locked in commerce with China for many years while they have brutally enforced a 1-child policy on their people...

I have a few clarifying questions for Vindman...

1. In precisely what way did he defend the Constitution? Liberals throw two terms around as if they are sacred, but in practice trample all over the principles the words represent. One is Constitution, the other is democracy.
And that leads to the second question, of course.

2. How has Trump shown a shared loathing with Putin for democratic norms?

Liberals preach about democratic values ad nauseam, yet they have betrayed the most basic of those values in America--the peaceful transition of power.
The Russian collusion story was and is a hoax, and everyone knows it. If you are naïve, you should at least know that there was no collusion, since Mueller officially concluded that. If you are paying attention, you know it was concocted as the basis and cover for a coup!
