If you've lived in the South, you might be familiar with the tone and tenor of how Lindsey Graham refers to his Black opponent, Jaime Harrison. Image
And this is all because Harrison is insisting that Graham get a COVID test before their next debate.
Also, this isn't a slip of the tongue, or something he said when the thought the mic wasn't on.

It's the first paragraph of a release he put out on Twitter.

And.... "The scheduled Senate debate between Jaime Harrison and Lindsey Graham has been canceled after Graham refused a COVID test."

"The President of the United States is acting like a drunk driver, and the press needs to cover him that way."

Trump, knowing that his close aide (Hope Hicks) had tested positive, got on a chopper and a plane to New Jersey. There, he was unmasked while meeting w/ hundreds of people -- some indoors.

Here's how NJ civil law defines gross negligence:
It's not just the donors who risk COVID. It's the flight crews, the Secret Service, and Trump's own employees at Bedminster. And their families

Yet, as Bloomberg reported “there was never serious thought given to canceling the Bedminster fundraiser, expected to raise $5 million"

When an epidemiological crisis hits the highest level of government, Fox News is going to rely on the advice of a politically motivated *radiologist*

Meanwhile, has anyone heard from Drs. Fauci or Birx?
Chris Wallace points out that Scott Atlas has no specialized training in infectious diseases.

Atlas is a product of Stanford's Hoover Institution, a conservative think tank which isn't exactly what anyone else at the university would consider to be a source of research or expertise on infectious disease

Biden is pushing this line, hard

“These are the guys that always thought they were better than me, better than us, because they had a lot of money.”
“It’s about time we start to pay essential workers for the fact that they’re essential” as he advocates a $15 minimum wage
Now Biden is re-enacting the anecdote of when Trump told his Mar-a-Lago friends that he just made them a lot richer.

One of the interesting issues that ethicists will need to study a generation from now is, how these lower-level aides (Vindman, Taylor, Troye) have the courage to speak out and be willing to take incoming from Fox et al, while their bosses and their bosses' bosses stay quiet
From a new @sbg1 interview:

"This is what struck me most during my conversation with Troye: she is young, only 43, with a long career ahead of her, and she was willing to put it all on the line publicly, while people like Mattis and Kelly were not" ...

... "Troye, with much more to lose—and with none of the stature of a former member of Congress or a former Marine general—had much more courage than all of them. She went ahead when they have not, knowing that she would be attacked"
