If you've lived in the South, you might be familiar with the tone and tenor of how Lindsey Graham refers to his Black opponent, Jaime Harrison. Image
And this is all because Harrison is insisting that Graham get a COVID test before their next debate.
Also, this isn't a slip of the tongue, or something he said when the thought the mic wasn't on.

It's the first paragraph of a release he put out on Twitter.

And.... "The scheduled Senate debate between Jaime Harrison and Lindsey Graham has been canceled after Graham refused a COVID test."

Atlas is a product of Stanford's Hoover Institution, a conservative think tank which isn't exactly what anyone else at the university would consider to be a source of research or expertise on infectious disease

One of the interesting issues that ethicists will need to study a generation from now is, how these lower-level aides (Vindman, Taylor, Troye) have the courage to speak out and be willing to take incoming from Fox et al, while their bosses and their bosses' bosses stay quiet
