1/10 The hashtag #WhyAreTheyDoingThis has popped up on Twitter because it's inexplicable why the government is acting like it is. I just don't believe they're ignorant of the economic damage that they are doing.
2/10 Because of this I've moved beyond it being an arse covering exercise. It just can't be if you look at the true COVID stats and not the media 'casedemic'. At the moment the government are torturing the data to get the answer they want.
3/10 Meanwhile we are heading to +4 million unemployed. Just how self interested must they be to cause a financial disaster on the scale of WW2?

Trying to make sense of it has been a challenge for months.
4/10 This guy

is scary if you listen to what he's saying; curtailment of civil liberties, modern monetary theory, post capitalism. A mixture of socialism and green. Like a watermelon, green on the outside and red on the inside.
5/10 If the likes of him and his ideas are within government then that's a problem.

Then we've got all the #BuildBackBetter shite pumped out by leaders all around the world. The World Economic Forum describing COVID as an opportunity, The Great Reset.
6/10 Yesterday I thought it felt like an attempted covert coup of our government. Have we got an opportunistic attempt within government (politicians and civil service) to implement a big change? All driven by a belief that they are saving the world.
7/10 Then I came across this which was recorded in Denmark in 2013,

8/10 You've got to get past the hair, but a lot of what she says is potentially coming to pass in terms of curtailment of freedom, monitoring of movement via health passports, dependence on unstable renewable energy with smart meter cutoff, '30% rewilding'.
9/10 Of course a quote I read the other day still applies "Our leaders are unable to conspire to make a ham sandwich without dropping it, face down, on the shag pile."

BUT are they fooling us and leading us to a globalist Agenda 21 utopia?
10/10 Divergent or Hunger Games future anyone?
11/10 An almost perfect footnote to this thread is this in Forbes that's WEF input forbes.com/sites/worldeco…
12/10 So perhaps this helps define the enemy or at least who it's not. Boris and his incompetent government are puppets.

1/16 So having thought about this for weeks I'm sure that #WhyAreTheyDoingThis leads to the World Economic Forum's Great Reset. The driver for this is the belief that our future on the planet is unsustainable and so someone needs to take control. @JamesDelingpole
@toadmeister
2/16 The elites and leaders pushing this agenda believe they are right and they are sure that they know best. Never good qualities in a leader. They are going to save us from the Climate Emergency. We should be grateful, aren't they great!

So how do they manage it?
3/16 One of the secrets to success of their plan will be to never open it up to democratic endorsement. So for instance it won't overtly come up in the US election, although Biden is using the phrase #BuildBackBetter.

1/16 The government need to show that lockdowns work to cover their arses. So they want to get ahead of a winter COVID problem that will never exist. There will almost certainly never be a rise in hospitalisations such as we saw earlier this year. @carlheneghan @FatEmperor
2/16 Hence the sudden ramp up in propaganda this week. Squash a problem that will never exist, but get ahead of it. Then they can show they saved us.
3/16 Of course, they could be genuinely worried. I see that Neil Ferguson has shown up again forecasting doom, but I can't believe that all the other evidence is ignored. It's just that the other evidence, eg, Sweden is not suitable.
