People were calling the Farr a communist going back to the 1950’s.

Sam Farr’s lawyer dad sued several men for libel.

In the 1980’s LAPD’s public corruption unit showed a local law enforcement detective that a communist organization in Southern California was making a number
2/

of calls to a law office associated with Farr.

Not a lot of this is talked about in my community. Just a lot of blanket praise.

In my county progress has been relatively slow.

I wonder why? ImageImage

Sam Farr came from privilege. Nothing in his life was a struggle.

He barely moved the needle in #MontereyCounty.

Now he is knee deep, and center perfect in the corruption probe taking place in the most corrupt county of all the 58 counties in California.

In 2014 the local right wing, in cahoots with some in the establishment Democratic Party worked to install a right wing, intellectually stunted, deputy - as Sheriff.

They pulled it off with a lot of rigging. It was documented in part but our local media seemed incapable
5/

of figuring it out - not to where it would lead to anything, involving all those monied donors.

Our local papers have been co-signed to cover nothing much more than Press Releases - put out but a lot of formerly unemployed journalists.

While the community burns.
6/

the reason communists & fascists seem so similar is, they aren’t about liberty, they aren’t about freedom, they aren’t about the truth.

They demonstrate regularly they are devoid of any real principals.

What they are both about is control.

Control the info.

Control you. ImageImage

“What about Fred Farr?”

... and in 2020 Monterey County has remained an insular cesspool of corruption and insider trading.

it doesn’t get better until we all take corruption seriously - at the local level.

(Absolutely priceless because there are unresolved issues related to Joe Gunter’s time in office)

Important to note @DaytonPubPolicy that several @SalinasPD coppers are against the renaming. (They know what is being discussed re/@FBI and a corruption probe)

Commander John Murray and Commander Bryan Cupak came out against it - as did a senior citizen relative of Murray. ImageImageImageImage
3/

But who does the @CityofSalinas have commenting for the renaming?

A county supervisor who is at the center of a FBI corruption probe, along with his colleague Judge John Phillips - @SupervisorAlejo:

What was Judge John Phillips’ involvement in this?

What was then DA Investigator turned Private Eye, turned John Phillips’ political sign installer’s roll in this?

Why did they let Balestreri & Cutino trash local law enforcement? like, @SalinasPD, like the ⁦@MCoSheriff⁩ ? Image

Trump is a symptom. Our local elected officials in most portions of America are corrupt, or in the process of being corrupted.

In Monterey County corruption goes back decades - it is unacceptable and will be dealt with.

John Phillips is at the center of all of this, here: Image

Is it any wonder to our local media that @SalinasPD’s @AdeleFrese is incapable of dealing with inappropriate relationships between her officers and Dr. Rolando Cabrera?

The Cabrera’s are protected by Judge John.

Larry Biegel has been protected by Judge John. (@FBI) Image

Kimbley Craig has the backing of a number of @realDonaldTrump donors in #MontereyCounty who have donated thousands to his platform.

The @mcweekly knowingly endorses Craig.

Big money, and a much bigger plan for the function of Cannery Row in every aspect of California political life - on the corrupt side.

Great get.

The informant John Griffin was undermined by John Phillips close personal friend Richard Lee.

Lee was an investigator with the MoCo DA’s office (who has put an application in with the @DEAHQ and was rejected in background) and he wrote a memo after claiming

he interviewed Griffin at Rositas. The corrupt DA used the letter to sabotage his own case 😂.

Everything the MoCo DA does is a show. They prosecute little people to the fullest and they walk politically connected people.
