People feared when country's corona count was 100. But now, there is no fear when it is over 170,000.

The answer lies in the psychological view of man. There is a philosophy called the "Kubler Ross Model".

Food for thought ( Government Employee)

Who is bringing Indians from outside : -
IAF & much maligned Air India.
Who is checking people at Arrival : govt servants
Who is manning isolation centers : Defense services & govt health workers and government hospitals

1/3
Who is working day and night even when Gods have shut their places : govt doctors and health workers.

Where is the Private Sector ?
The darling of masses otherwise.
Has any big corporate come forward to pitch in.
Has any pvt airline volunteered.

2/3
Has any private hospital chain deputed doctors.
Have they opened quarantine centres?
Infact many pvt corporates are even not willing to let people work from home, let alone come forward to take responsibility of disinfecting at least their areas-but waiting for govt to do it

Experiences of veteran Investor of previous market crashes of 1992/2000/2008
1. Though it may seem impossible, markets do make a bottom somewhere
2. Some stocks will go to the dogs or get de-listed. Not all will survive but you can pick future stars for a penny to the dollar
1/4
3.The next bull cycle ,whenever,it comes will be lead by totally new sector/group of stocks. The market leaders of this run with astronomical valuations take on a average of 10-12 yrs to go back to those same prices
4 Do not try to buy beaten down stocks at one go/fell 2 much
2/
5. Watch Nifty PE ratio. Historically Nifty bottoms out below 12 PE .Do not follow complex/arbitrage/innovative interpretation of PE. Stick to basics : below 12PE is good
6 . If investing , invest in tranches of say 20% . Be ready to take another 20%-15% below current price
