I buy a lot of books, don't read all of them. But I buy them for a reason.
In this thread, I'll pull out one random book everyday and talk about why I bought it - as a public reminder that I haven't extracted value from it yet
During my time as a Sales Engineer, I had to do product demos for a living. I bought this because Steve Jobs' iPhone presentation is the only way I want to do product demos
When I saw someone codified his approach, I wanted it. Bought it, flipped through and forgot about this :(
Bought this book when I developed interested Agile development. I was also running around as a Kanban purist, advocating it wherever I go
This book turned out to teach me more than software dev. Has a lot of real life applications. Gifted it to few ppl as well. Must revisit soon
