He must have also missed it when the US Congress passed the NDAA last year with a provision calling for the US to #SanctionTurkey 
It must really burn him up when a Congressman in his former jurisdiction (and member of the Congressional Turkey caucus) introduced legislation this summer to #SanctionTurkey kinzinger.house.gov/news/documents…

Umut obviously clowned the Turkish public into believing he did a good job hunting Gulenists and influencing policy makers when he was in #Chicago (#ArmenianGenocide resolution, #EastMedAct, and #NDAA sponsorship from Members of Congress in his jurisdiction suggest otherwise),
and he is trying to clown Turkish public again. It is not a few groups pushing to #SanctionTurkey, and heeding such counsel will lead to sanctions becoming very real.
