The pictures seen below represent the story of betrayal of the maumau fighters. One is a poster that celebrates the killing of fighters (selling fear) Note the title "Atoi" kikuyu word for terrorists,a name that stuck courtesy of anti-mau mau campaign led by chief Waruhiu & Jomo
The other one is a supposed letter by kîmathi to a priest friend on the eve of his execution in 1957
In one of the many letters written by Marshall kîmathi,he is seen warning his brother colonel Wambararia that there were men who were planning to kill him,Kimathi & 2 others.
Kîmathi in the letter asked his brother and the other men to mobilize all forces and be ready for a bloody confrontation with the traitors.
He would later be captured while walking into the forest an event that would be followed by twists and lies.
The biggest of these lies is that Kimathi had surrendered and had written a letter applying for negotiation.
It is said that there were two factions within the insurgence, one of moderates and the other of radicals like Kimathi and his deputy Baimungi.
On the eve of his execution,Dedan is said to have written a letter in which he shared his readiness to die to Priest named Marino. This was as opposed to the likes of Waruhiu wa Itote (China) who cooperated. Why would the colonialists be in a hurry to hang a man who had surrendered
The events of kimathi's execution indicate efforts to remove a huddle. His burial in an unmarked grave further indicate the intention to remove him completely from history. A thing that can only be done to a soldier who is a threat even in death. One that never surrendered.
After his death in 1957,his deputy Baimungi took over leading the fight until 1960.His leadership came to an end unceremoniously in the forest in 1965 two years after returning to the forest.
After Kenyatta came to power He called on Baimungi & his group to come out of the forest in a meeting held in Gatundu. However, it turned out that Jomo did not want them joining the armed forces as they requested neither did they see justice in the sharing of land.
Instead Jomo bought back land from the settlers and the fighters would have none of it as it was shared Among allies of the moderate faction and collaborators.
Baimungi M'marete led this group back to the forest to continue fighting for land as the mission was unaccomplished.
In return, Jomo started a repression operation, one that saw the hunting down of the fighters in the forest. That is how Baimungi bit the bullet in the forest.
This betrayal and the erasing of the names of these heroes from history is the truth about the war.
While independence came, it is true that the war was lost. Africans of armed spirit in Kenya like in most countries did not win, the white man won, dressed behind the faces of his collaborators. A plan hatched long before the death of chief Waruhiu in 1952.
The war was won on behalf of the settlers by black people who have dominated books of history. Celebrated as heroes. Cronies cooked in years of lies.
The grave where Kimathi was burried in Kamiti has remained unidentified. A reminder that they must never be remembered, lest the truth of their desire for Honor and justice among country men is reawakened. Dreaded even in death.

INTRODUCTION
Wagalla town is located in wajir which is in Northern Kenya. Northern Kenya is what was formerly known as the Northern Frontier District (NFP).
At first the colonialists called northern Kenya their protectorate then later a colony.
Much later it became a buffer zone between Kenya and somalia. It was during this time that it was given the operative term "Northern frontier district". Later in the years, legislations were passed by the Parliament to control and isolate NFD further.
JOMO KENYATTA SPEECH ON LAND ISSUES ON 1ST JUNE 1966 DIRECTED TO OGINGA ODINGA INDIRECTLY.
"Let me also issue a word of warning to those who might be tempted to carry the law in their own hands and try to take white settled land by force.
My govt will not tolerate such attempts by the malcontents among us who do not want to buy the land. I have already promised that this will not happen and those with such plans will be disappointed. Money will give land to everybody.
The market at its forces will distribute the land to us, including the poor without exception. Anything else smacks of a bloody communist conspiracy of violent land redistribution which my govt will not countenance."

After Kenya gained self rule in 1964, nobody imagined of a bitter divorce between the founding fathers of the nation Mzee jomo Kenyatta and his old friend jaramogi Oginga Odinga. The bitter fallout was caused by several factors that were precipitated by external forces.
Publicly it was known that Jomo and Oginga differed sharply on ideological differences in the line of capitalism and communism respectively. But apart from this there were deep propaganda information fed to Jomo.
The Kedong Massacre of 1895: When The Maasai killed over 600 Men In One Incident. What happened in this day?

In November 1895, the acting commander of Fort Smith (Kikuyu), Thomas Gilkison, dispatched a food caravan of some 1,150 men to Ravine. The men were to replenish supplies needed by the advance railway survey team.
The caravan consisted of about 1,000 Agïküyü porters and 150 swahilis, fifty of them armed with rifles. In those days, for a caravan of that size, a European was expected to be leader.
But this caravan was different. Gilkison appointed a young Swahili man to be in-charge.
On Sunday 2nd march of 1975,the then firebrand legislator for nyandarua North popularly known as J.M kariuki was reported missing. Ten days later his body would be found at the Nairobi city mortuary. Surprisingly, some govt officials all along knew J.M was already dead.
JM knew he was living on borrowed time, before his assassination while playing darts with Nakuru town MP Mark Mwithaga,Nakuru mayor mburu Gichua stormed the hotel & told J.M that "you want to bring trouble to Nakuru, just be warned, your days are numbered,we are going to finish you
Earlier on while in Nairobi, the late G.G kariuki had whispered to J.M kariuki that a secret meeting had taken place in Nakuru and decision to eliminate him by all means was reached. The plan was first to stage a political and security scare then blame it on J.M kariuki.
