Dear Politicians, I am sure you have seen the coordination of the protest, not prefect but it has a resemblance of a working society.
Emergency health care is available, lawyers are working round the clock, entrepreneurs are fixing problems and assisting, there is water, food,
mobile toilet, media, entertainment, church service on Sunday, I am sure our Muslim brothers and sisters pray too, there are even people responsible for discipline to ensure everyone behaves well, any unruly protester is disciplined and sent home for the day.
You can also see that the leaders are not the richest or highest paid, but they wield immense power and influence over the people, and are doing well in their chosen life and career path.
This is considerable power because they can influence things and change the course of events and even history and that’s what politicians in a working society have,
they don’t earn what even the middle class considers ridiculous in exchange for their services, the leaders of this spontaneous but much needed movement don’t even earn anything.
That’s how a society should work.
You cannot have power and still earn what you earn from the tax payers in a country with our GDP per capita.
If you are being sincere you will agree it’s unfair to earn what you earn.
Well, prepare to reduce your earnings, we want a country where only those who want to serve get elected, the selfish ambition (which we all have) we can tolerate is the power that elected position gives you.
Money shouldn’t be the motivation to be elected and lead us again.
For those who think the @PoliceNG have only few bad eggs, I am sure we can see that they have only few good eggs and many bad eggs, the whole system is bad that the even few good ones have lost their moral and ethical compass.
We have just witnessed how an artist manager who was protesting peacefully was arrested, dragged on the floor and charged with murder, and transferred even when video evidence showed that the Police did all the shooting. This is not right or normal ! #SARSMUSTEND
How would you say a protester shot a Police man, where did the protester get a gun from ?
Did the @PoliceNG do a Forensic ballistics to know whose gun the bullet that hit the men came from ?
Why would you pronounce people guilt just because you feel like?
