BREAKING: Our first-ever news on a potential Egyptian plot. Egypt was a founding member of the Red Sea Conspiracy detailed across the 600 pages of Proof of Conspiracy (Macmillan, 2019)—and the only one whose illegal election aid to Trump remained unknown as of the book's release.

PS/ I understand the probe into Trump-Egypt collusion hit a wall. I also know from having written Proof of Conspiracy that el-Sisi could not have been part of the Red Sea Conspiracy—and he was a central part of it—unless he was aiding Trump in some way. It'll be found eventually.

PS2/ One reason Egypt's role was elusive was that, unlike Saudi Arabia and the UAE and Israel, it did not send an emissary to Trump Tower to get Donald Trump Jr.'s blessing for election tampering. Instead, el-Sisi—more cautious than the other conspirators—met with Trump himself.

PS3/ That meeting happened the month *after* Trump Jr. personally greenlit multinational collusion at Trump Tower. The meeting was orchestrated by George Papadopoulos, apparently through his contacts in Israel. Only Trump and Flynn and el-Sisi know what was said in the meeting.

PS4/ I have to wonder whether the feds got Flynn to tell them what Trump and el-Sisi discussed, and have to further wonder whether Flynn lied to the feds then as he did at every other point. We certainly know el-Sisi came out of the meeting making clear his preference for Trump.

PS5/ But moreover, because Michael Flynn and George Papadopoulos both worked on the Carson campaign and both had ties to Israel and both used those ties to Israel to get access to top Egyptian officials, it further makes one wonder about the association(s) between those two men.

PS6/ Egypt was most certainly a part of the six-nation "grand bargain" that Flynn began working on in 2015, so it had an enormous amount to gain from a Trump election (in the same way the other Red Sea co-conspirators did). Again, Trump-Egypt collusion *will* be found eventually.

PS7/ What this news confirms is that federal law enforcement is aware of the intertwining metanarratives described in Proof of Conspiracy, and that there has been meaningful follow-up on the transnational collusion described in the book. That alone is very, *very* good news.

PS8/ Given that the probe is presently closed or believed to be, one might wonder where additional information could come from. I'll say that it may come from the Trump officials who lied to federal law enforcement, have the answers to this mystery, and have a reason to talk.

PS9/ George Nader knows, and is currently a federal convict still within the window to seek a sentence reduction. Steve Bannon knows, and is currently under indictment. Mike Flynn knows, and may be *re*-indicted under a new presidential administration.

And Papadopoulos may know.

PS10/ To be clear, I don't mean that those men necessarily know about specific transfers. What they would know is that there was a criminal intent—as between the Trump Organization and the Egyptians—to collude in some fashion. It's Trump's accountants who'd have the real answers.

PS11/ Fortunately, Trump's accountants are quite likely going to see life as they know it end if Trump loses this election. They will be facing questions from federal and state investigators the likes of which they have never seen before. I have to think at least one will crack.

PS12/ We also don't yet know what limitations may have been put on investigations that grew out of the Mueller investigation (by Bill Barr or other Trump political appointees). I don't think *anyone* feels a full and robust Trump collusion criminal investigation has yet occurred.

PS13/ BTW, lest you think I'm opining about the Mueller probe because it "only" found definite collusion by Trump's longtime associate and campaign manager Manafort and ten felony acts of obstruction by Trump, I'm just quoting Mueller deputy Weissman—who *said* it was incomplete.

PS14/ So I suggest we all do what the thousands of major-media citations in Proof of Conspiracy implicitly urged us to do: put a pin in Trump-Egypt collusion and assume that, in future domestic (tax/fraud) and foreign (CI and/or criminal) probes, much more will out on this topic.

PS15/ On a personal note, I spent a year being asked by interviewers why the collusion in Proof of Conspiracy wasn't in Mueller's report. I said that Mueller had referred additional cases to other prosecutors and sent CI evidence on to FBI CD. It turns out that was exactly right.
