BJMP and PNP excluded the mother of Reina Nasino from the final moments. Dozens upon dozens of BJMP-PNP personnel instead occupied the space around the casket and Reina Nasino. In a mark of cruelty, they did not remove Reina Nasino’s handcuffs.
Whatever funeral plans Reina Nasino, the Nasino family and activists had, the BJMP-PNP cavalierly overruled them. The BJMP-PNP decided for them on what would happen.
