Pretty Kitty 🖤

When Yoongi agreed to accompany Hoseok when he took his little brother out trick or treating it had been under the condition that he wouldn’t have to get dressed up.

He should’ve known things don’t always go as planned.

The house seemed to be in chaos when Yoongi arrived. He could hear Jungkook’s screams as he kicked off his shoes and padded through to the sitting room.
‘What exactly have I signed myself up for?’ He asked as he stood in the doorway.
The house was decked out in various spooky ornaments and decorations. Ghost shaped garlands draped across the walls and fake cobwebs hung from the picture frames, it looked great and exactly what he’d expected from the Jung household. They always liked to go all out for Halloween
‘YOONIE HYUNG!’ Jungkook yelled from where he stood on a small stool in the centre of the room. His mom was busy making the final touches to his bunny costume, attempting to fix the sleeve which was proving difficult with the little one jumping up and down excitedly.
‘Jungkookie stay still!’ His mother said.
Yoongi grinned at him, he could almost feel the excitement that seemed to permeate from Jungkook as he tried to stay still for his mom.
‘He’s a little excited about going trick or treating for the first time.’ Hoseok said as he appeared from the kitchen carrying a freshly carved pumpkin, which he placed by the fire, carefully lighting a candle inside completing the look.
‘Where’s your costume?’ Jungkook asked, rushing over to Yoongi the second his mother deemed his sleeve okay.
‘Uh…’
‘You have to have one hyung! It’s halloween!’
‘Yeah hyung, it’s halloween.’ Hoseok said with a wicked grin.
Yoongi shot him a look, he had only agreed to accompany him while he took his brother trick or treating if he didn’t have to wear a stupid costume.
‘I’m a bit too old for dressing up.’ Yoongi tried but regretted it the moment he said it.
Jungkook’s big eyes looked up at him, and he swore he could see tears forming, his little mouth turning down in a frown.
‘B-but you have to…’ He stuttered.
‘It’s okay Kookie, Hobi is dressing up.’ His mother said, trying to calm him down.
‘Yeah Koo, come on you can help me finish getting ready.’ Hobi added.
‘Okay.’ He said but his voice was small and the excitement from early seemed to have faded.
***

Yoongi only felt worse the longer he waited for Hoseok and Jungkook to return, Mrs Jung had assured him that Jungkook would be fine once they were out and trick or treating but he couldn’t help but feel bad. Jungkook was a sweet kid and he’d been so excited when he arrived.
Hoseok had told him how happy he’d been when he’d told him that Yoongi was coming along. And he’d gone and ruined it.
It was their older sister who ended up saving the day.
Jiwoo came down the stairs ten minutes before her brothers. She was all dressed up as a zombie herself, Yoongi was impressed at the effort she’d made.
‘Oh hi Yoongi.’ She said, noticing him.
‘Hey, you look great.’
‘Thanks, some friends are having a party. Where’s your costume?’
‘Ah, I don't have one.’
‘That would explain Jungkookie’s pouting.’
‘Is he really upset? I didn’t think it would be that big of a deal, wish I’d just worn something now.’ Yoongi said rubbing at the back of his neck. He really was feeling bad.
‘Come with me.’ Jiwoo said.
‘Okay…’
Yoongi tentatively followed Jiwoo to the kitchen, there was a big box of halloween decorations still sat on the counter, Mrs Jung having just finished putting up the last few things. Jiwoo rummaged in the box for a moment, Yoongi waiting awkwardly beside her.
‘Aha! Perfect.’
Yoongi couldn’t see what she pulled out and put on the table beside the box, he didn’t know if he should feel nervous. But he didn’t get a chance to question it, she’d been looking through her handbag for something and had just pulled out an eyeliner, Yoongi eyed her cautiously.
‘Come here, we don’t have much time.’
Yoongi did as he was told but there was something in the mischievous look in Jiwoo’s eyes that he didn’t like, he knew that look, had seen it in Hoseok many times and it never boded well.
***

‘YOONIE!’
Jungkook’s face lit up when he saw Yoongi, all his excitement from earlier returning tenfold. He’d ran down the last couple of stairs followed by Hoseok who was now sporting his devil costume, the red horns clashing brilliantly with his orange hair.
‘Not a word.’ Yoongi warned, trying his best to ignore the grin that had formed on his friend’s face the moment he’d laid eyes on Yoongi.

He was already starting to regret letting Jiwoo at him.
She had spent a couple of minutes drawing on Yoongi’s face then placed a headband on his head and fastened something around his neck.
‘Perfect!’ She’d exclaimed before grabbing Yoongi and leading him to the mirror in the hallway. He could only stare at his appearance.
Nestled in his black hair were a pair of fluffy black cat ears, a black choker with a small bell rested against his throat and whiskers streaked across his cheeks. Paired with his all black outfit and his already feline eyes, he was, as Jiwoo said,

‘A perfect little black cat.’

🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤
To give him his due Hoseok only teased him a little bit. It could’ve been a lot worse. It didn’t stop Yoongi giving him the finger the second Jungkook’s back was turned.
Jiwoo insisted on taking photos of them all, Yoongi attempted to avoid them but was dragged back into frame by Jungkook every time.
‘Careful, he’ll start hissing.’ Hobi teased when Jungkook stopped his escape attempt yet again.
Eventually they were allowed to leave and after bidding goodbye to their mom and Jiwoo they’d headed out. The dark night was already settling in and the streets were filled with people and their kids going door to door.
Jungkook walked slightly ahead of them, his little fuzzy bunny tail bobbing as he walked. He really looked cute, not that he’d accept that. When the first woman had answered her door to him and cooed he’d stubbornly told her he wasn’t cute, he was scary.
It just made him more adorable. And as they made their way around their neighbourhood both Yoongi and Hoseok couldn’t help but smile fondly at him as he bowed deeply and thanked each person who answered their door.
‘Trick or treat!’ Jungkook yelled as the next door opened.
‘AHHH!!’
Yoongi rolled his eyes at Seokjin’s even louder yell but Jungkook giggled and grinned up at him.
‘Jinnie look!’ He said holding up his little pumpkin bucket already half full of candy.
‘Oh wow aren’t you doing well! Must be cos you’re such a cute little bunny.’ He said kneeling down to get on Jungkook’s level.
‘Oh careful.’ Hobi warned but it was too late.
‘I’m not cute!’ Jungkook said stamping his little foot. ‘I’m scary! I’m a werebunny see!’
Yoongi could see Seokjin trying to hold in his laugh as Jungkook bared his teeth and held up his little hands like claws.
‘Oh my god!’ He said dramatically clutching his chest, it probably would’ve been more believable if he hadn’t been dressed like a giant pumpkin,
but Jungkook seemed to buy it and grinned at his hyung again.
‘Namjoon and Tae should be back soon, they had to run to the store for more candy.’ Seokjin said inviting them in, the house was decked out even more than the Jung’s had been.
‘Help yourselves to the punch, it’s virgin don’t worry.’ He added when Hobi eyed it suspiciously.
‘Take it you’ve been busy with kids at the door.’ Hobi said, pouring him and Jungkook some punch.
‘Yeah, Namjoon wanted to get more candy in for me before taking Taehyung out.’
They hadn’t been there long when the sound of the door and Taehyung’s chatter could be heard from the hallway. Jungkook immediately ran to them and the loud squeals drowned out the greeting
Namjoon offered as he entered the kitchen.
‘Okay okay, come on in here.’ He said at last and the two kids appeared hand in hand. Taehyung was decked out as a miniature Joker, he looked adorably sinister.
He only let go of Jungkook’s hand to hug Yoongi and Hoseok, his little hands coming up to affectionately stroke the ears nestled in Yoongi’s hair.
‘Pretty kitty.’ He said.
‘Yes the prettiest kitty.’ Seokjin added and Yoongi glared at him.
‘Thought you didn’t do halloween.’ Namjoon commented as the kids sat on the floor to share some of Jungkook’s candy.
‘Don’t eat too much or you’ll get sick before even going out.’ Seokjin told Taehyung, who proceeded to ignore him and stuff a load of gummies in his mouth.
‘Jungkook gave him the puppy eyes.’ Hobi explained, Namjoon nodded in understanding. They’d all been on the receiving end of Jungkook’s puppy eyes over the years. It was the kid’s secret power.
Yoongi withstood some more teasing from his friends, Seokjin going as far as offering Yoongi a bowl of milk instead of a drink, before they headed back out to continue the trick or treating.
‘Appa can we go with Googie?’ Taehyung asked as he clung from Namjoon’s arm.
‘Yeah sure, but we need to go to grandmas at some point too.’ He told him. Taehyung and Jungkook screamed happily, the two of them walking hand in hand as they went back out into the night.
It was nice having Namjoon along for the rest of their trick or treating rounds, the kids happily exchanging treats as they walked between houses.
‘If you want, you could come back to ours after, we were planning on watching a movie, Jungkookie could sleep over as well.’ Namjoon said as they waited for the kids to knock on another door.
‘I’ll text mom, I doubt she’d mind and Koo would love to stay over with Tae.’ Hobi said.
‘What about you hyung?’ He asked turning to Yoongi.
‘Yeah sure, I’ve got nothing else on.’ He’d pretty much planned on either hanging out with Hobi or just heading home to watch tv anyway.
When the kid’s buckets were almost full Namjoon told Taehyung they needed to go see his grandmother. Taehyung reluctantly agreed but only after Hoseok promised they’d see him back at his house.
‘Let’s make this street the last one then we’ll go back to Jin and Joon’s okay.’ Hobi told Jungkook who nodded. Yoongi could see he was starting to get tired, his excitement fading a little, especially now that Taehyung was gone.
They made their way along the last street, Jungkook’s tiny fists knocking on each of the doors.
‘He’s getting tired.’ Hobi commented as Jungkook didn’t even bother to get annoyed when the old man who’d answered the door called him cute.
‘Why don’t we just head back now?’ Yoongi suggested. Hobi agreed but before they got a chance to tell Jungkook they were distracted by a flash of bright red and a loud yell of, ‘JUNGKOOKIE!’
Yoongi barely had time to step back as a kid ran past them and hurtled into Jungkook.
‘Sorry! Yugeyom stop yelling!’ Said the exasperated woman who could only be his mother appeared a second later.
‘Ah don’t worry about it they’re all really excited.’ Hobi assured her. It was to be expected really, pretty much all the kids were hyped up on excitement and sugar.
Jungkook’s own had came back full force with the arrival of his friend. The two of them showing each other their candy hauls.
‘Woah where did you get that?” Jungkook asked as Yugeyom showed him the giant chocolate bar he’d wedged into his little bucket.
‘The vampire house! Haven’t you been yet?’ Yugeyom asked, pointing to the house at the end of the street.
Jungkook shook his head, chewing on his lip.
‘I-is there really vampires?’ He asked shyly, clearly thinking his friend had meant a house full of vampires awaited him.
Jungkook had always been a little put off by vampires, Yoongi blamed Hoseok’s love for Twilight.
‘You have to go Kookie! They have the best candy!’ Yugeyom insisted.
Jungkook didn’t look too sure but he put on his best brave face and grabbed his big brother’s hand.
‘Come on hyung we’ve gotta go to the vampire house.’
They said a quick goodbye to Yugeyom and his mom and headed towards the ‘vampire house’.
‘Y’know we can just go back to Jin hyung’s now, you’ve already got loads of candy.’ Hobi tried but Jungkook was defiant, he would never admit that he was afraid.
He was a tiny bundle of stubborn when it came to things like that, Yoongi had to commend him for it.
He stopped when they reached the steps leading up to the house, his hand slipping from Hobi’s, they could see how nervous he was looking up at the door covered in fake cobwebs.
Yoongi was just about to suggest they go with him when Hoseok’s phone began to ring.
‘Um, sorry I gotta get this.’ He said, he mouthed for Yoongi to watch Jungkook as he stepped away.
As Hoseok walked a few steps away he felt Jungkook’s hand grip his sleeve.
Yoongi looked down at him and was met with big eyes full of uncertainty.
‘Okay, let’s show these vampires what a werebunny can do.’ He said, and with a defiant nod they approached the door. If his little hand was shaking when he reached up to press the doorbell no one had to know
🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤
They waited barely a minute before the door swung open to reveal what could only be described as the most beautiful man on earth.

Yoongi just stared as Jungkook cried ‘Trick or treat!’ with all his muster.
‘Oh! Gosh you scared me!’ The man said, looking down at Jungkook. ‘What’s this, a werebunny running loose in the streets?!’
Any fear Jungkook had melted away as he bore his teeth, his grip on Yoongi’s sleeve disappearing as he held up his ‘claws’.
Jungkook no doubt pleased someone had realised that he was in fact a scary werebunny and not the fluffy cute kind.
‘Wow, so scary, I better hurry up with those treats huh?’ He said reaching inside the door for a bowl of candy.
Smiling he crouched down so he was Jungkook’s level, encouraging the little one to pick out some candy.
As Jungkook rifled through the candy bowl, Yoongi had a good look at him at the man. He really was astonishingly beautiful. His costume was minimal, but effective all the same.
He was in a black suit with sparkly accents, and the way it curved to his body... Yoongi knew he shouldn’t be staring but he couldn’t help it. He was gorgeous. The way the fabric clung to his thighs… Yoongi’s mind was about to short-circuit.
His dark grey hair falling over his pretty face, and from this angle he couldn’t really see it properly but Yoongi knew he’d never seen a more beautiful person in his life.
‘What about this one?’ The man asked Jungkook holding up a candy bar. ‘These are my favourites.’
Jungkook took it in his pudgy little hand and held it up to Yoongi.
‘These are Yoonie-hyung’s favourite!’
The man looked up at Yoongi with a broad smile. ‘Is that so Yoonie-hyung? Are they your favourite?’
‘Uh, yeah they’re okay.’ Yoongi replied, a little flustered.
There had been an almost teasing lilt to his tone, he bit down on his lip as he looked up at Yoongi, and Yoongi was suddenly feeling a little flustered. He was so hot. How was he so hot? How did he manage to look that hot with vampire fangs and fake blood trickling down his chin?
Yoongi cleared his throat.
He was maybe into the fangs a little more than he should’ve been.
The man plucked the candy bar from Jungkook’s hand and stood up straight again, he held the bar out to Yoongi.
‘Well we’ll have to make sure Yoonie-hyung gets his treat too. After all, he is such a pretty kitty.’
‘Th-thank you.’ Yoongi said in a voice way too quiet.
‘How come when he calls you a pretty kitty he gets a thank you, and all we got was abuse?’
Hoseok’s voice from behind him had Yoongi wishing the ground would swallow him up.
‘Shut up.’ He mumbled at his friend, giving him the best glare he could. Hoseok just grinned at him.
Yoongi turned back to the man and felt himself get even more embarrassed. Hejust watching him, an amused look in his eyes.
‘Hyung look at the big chocolate I got!’ Jungkook said pulling the attention back on him.
‘Oh wow, did you say thank you Jungkookie?’ Hobi said as Jungkook showed him the big bar of chocolate he’d chosen from the bowl.
‘Yes! Thank you um... Jungkook looked up at the ‘vampire’ questioningly.
‘Jimin.’
‘Thank you Jimin-ssi.’ Jungkook said proudly.
‘You’re very welcome Jungkookie.’ Jimin said with a smile, he looked almost as fond as Yoongi felt.
‘What else did you get Kookie?’ Hoseok asked, Jungkook excitedly showed him all the treats the man, Jimin, had let him choose leaving Yoongi to awkwardly stand there not really knowing what to say.
Jimin was just leaning up against the door frame watching the brothers, a soft smile on his face as Jungkook told Hobi that Jimin had been scared of his werebunny costume.
‘I think Jungkookie’s costume has been the scariest one tonight.’ Jimin chipped in, much to the delight of Jungkook who proceeded to give his best growl.
‘He sure is the scariest werebunny I’ve ever seen.’ Hobi agreed.
‘And here I thought I was going to be the scary one when you came to my door, but no, I have a terrifying werebunny on my doorstep.’
‘Vampires are scary!’ Jungkook insisted.
‘Hm, but not scary enough, I’ll have to try harder.’ Jimin said pouting, Jungkook reached up and patted his arm,
‘It’s okay, you don’t need to be scary, Yoonie-hyung thinks you're pretty.’
‘I- what?!’ Yoongi spluttered, the comment totally throwing him off guard.
He hadn't thought it was possible to get more embarrassed, and yet here he was being thrown under the bus by a four year old.
‘Is that so?’ Jimin asked, cocking his head to one side as he looked at Yoongi.
Yoongi who averted his eyes, unable to look at him.
‘Yes, his ears are red. And they only go red like that when he’s talking to pretty people, Noona told me.’ Jungkook said matter of factly.
He was going to murder Jisoo, straight up murder her.
‘I- that’s not- I don’t-’
Yoongi was going to die from embarrassment. His time was over. He was no longer for this world.
‘Cute.’ Jimin said, Yoongi risked a glance at the word, he could see Jimin was trying to not smile.
‘We should go.’ Yoongi blurted, he’d already made a big enough fool of himself.
He couldn’t take it anymore. He turned to leave when Jimin’s voice stopped him.
‘Oh, but what about my treat Yoonie-hyung?’
His voice was dripping with honey, and when Yoongi turned back to look at him, he felt like he was going to combust.
Jimin was looking at him with all the innocence in the world, but there was something in his eyes that said the complete opposite. Like he would swallow Yoongi up whole if given the chance.
‘Yeah hyung, what about Jimin’s treat?’ Hoseok said with a smirk, Yoongi wanted to punch him.
‘Hyung you have to give Jimin-ssi his treat!’ Jungkook added, completely oblivious to the suggestive undertones of his older brother’s comment.
‘I um,’ Yoongi didn’t know what to say.
‘Tell you what Jungkookie, why don’t we leave Yoongi-hyung here to give Jimin-ah his treat, and we’ll head back and see if Joonie and TaeTae are back.’ Hoseok said.
The mention of his best friend had Jungkook agreeing in an instant, thanking Jimin once last time before hopping down the steps. The two of them leaving just like that, Hoseok shooting him a wink as he led his little brother down the street.
Yoongi hadn’t even got a chance to argue. He just watched dumbfounded as they disappeared up the street.

They’d just left him there.
Alone.
With Jimin.

He really hated the Jung family.
🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤
‘So Yoonie-hyung, are we going to stand on the doorstep all night or would you like to come inside?’ Jimin asked, pulling Yoongi from his frantic thoughts.
‘O-okay.’
Jimin smiled and stepped to one side, allowing Yoongi to brush past him and into the house.
The house was decorated but not like his friends’ had been. It was more subtle. Just a couple of glowing jack-o-lanterns sat nestled on the table in the hallway. Delicate origami bats hung on strings from the ceiling, it was almost pretty.
‘Would you like a to drink?’ Jimin asked, leading Yoongi into the kitchen once he’d kicked off his boots.
‘Sure.’
Jimin headed for the fridge, listing off a few different drinks for Yoongi to choose from, but his gaze had fallen on the plate of cookies that sat on the counter.
They were ghost and pumpkin shaped, their icing a little uneven in places and clearly homemade.
‘You can help yourself.’ Jimin said as he walked over from the fridge, two beers in his hands.
‘Thanks.’ Yoongi picked up a pumpkin shaped cookie. ‘Did you make them?’
‘Yeah, they were supposed to be for the kids but they’re a bit messy so I just left them here.’
Yoongi took a bite of the cookie, it’s soft texture crumbling as he bit down.
‘Ooh careful.’ Jimin said, reaching up to wipe the crumbs from Yoongi’s lips.
Yoongi swallowed hard as Jimin brushed his thumb lightly across his bottom lip. He was standing so close Yoongi could feel his breath against his skin.
The fact that they were practically the same height made it very difficult for Yoongi to avoid looking into Jimin’s deep brown eyes, eyes that were gazing at him with an intensity that made sparks shoot up his spine.
‘I- um,’ Yoongi began but Jimin cut him off.
‘Do I get my treat now Yoonie-hyung?’
His voice was sweet as honey and all Yoongi could do was nod his head slowly. A smile curled at the corners of Jimin’s mouth before he closed the gap and kissed him.
Heat shot through him as Yoongi dropped the cookie and gripped Jimin’s hips. His lips were so soft & warm against his own. He felt Jimin’s hand curling around the back of his neck, the touch sending another wave of sparks through him as Jimin pulled him closer, deepening the kiss
Now Yoongi has kissed his fair share of people over the years, but he’d never been kissed like this. It was as though Jimin knew exactly how he liked it.
He didn’t want to ever stop kissing him, and it seemed Jimin felt the same as he pushed Yoongi back against the counter, taking the opportunity when Yoongi gasped at his back hitting the counter edge to lick into his mouth.
Yoongi only just held back his moan as Jimin pressed up against him, his grip on Jimin’s hips tightening. He felt a little like he was drowning in the feeling of Jimin pressed up against him, his fingers in his hair and soft lips against his, it left him a little breathless.
When they finally broke apart Jimin’s eyes were heavy as they looked at him, he was absolutely stunning, even with the fake blood on his chin a little smudged.
‘Why don’t we get a little more comfortable hm?’ Jimin said, pressing one last kiss to his jaw before grabbing their beers in one hand and Yoongi’s hand in the other.
He led them through to the sitting room, a large fireplace was burning bright with artificial flames, making the room feel warm and cosy. There were more pumpkins nestled on the fireplace, uncarved this time but in various colours and sizes, it looked both halloweeny and autumnal
A garland of autumn leaves and the little origami bats hung from the mantle, Yoongi liked it.
Jimin sank onto the plush sofa, shifting some cushions he patted the seat for Yoongi to sit down beside him before handing him his beer.
Yoongi taking a grateful sip as Jimin set some soft music to play.
‘I like your decorations.’ Yoongi said after a while.
‘Thanks, I love autumn and halloween.’
‘Did you make the little bats yourself?’
‘Yeah, and I have the papercuts to show for it.’ He said with a light laugh, holding up his hands on which Yoongi could make out the healing cuts on his fingers. His hands were tiny and cute, he found himself itching to hold them again.
‘Something tells me you're not as into halloween.’
‘What makes you say that?’
‘Oh I don’t know, the half-assed kitty costume?’ Jimin teased.
‘I spent hours on this costume.’
‘Sure you did.’ Jimin said not sounding convinced at all, he reached up and straightened Yoongi’s cat ears, his fingers lingering in his hair for a moment before adding, ‘you don’t even have a tail.’
Yoongi opened his mouth to argue, but fell dumb.
‘All those hours and you missed one of the most essential parts of a cat.’
‘Maybe I’m a manx cat.’ Yoongi said defensively, Jimin just raised his eyebrows at him skeptically.
‘A manx cat...’
‘Yes, they’re tailless cats.’
Jimin broke out laughing, his smile wide, eyes disappearing into crescents as he giggled. ‘You’re so funny hyung.’
He had the type of laugh that was infectious, and Yoongi couldn’t help but smile along with him.
‘Cute and funny. Hm, I really did get a treat tonight.’ Jimin said when he finally stopped laughing, and Yoongi felt his cheeks flush once again. How did he manage to go from cute giggling to flirting so easily? It made his head spin.
Yoongi drained the rest of his beer in an attempt to mask his flustered state. It didn’t work.
They fell into silence once again, Yoongi picking at the label on his beer bottle. Part of him wanted to talk more, to make Jimin laugh again, but he didn’t know what to say. The other, hornier part of him just wanted to make out again.
It was only when he felt Jimin’s fingers at the back of his head, teasing the fine hairs at his nape that he dared look at him again. Jimin was facing him, his body turned so he had his back to the arm of the sofa, one leg tucked beneath himself.
He looked relaxed and comfortable, the very opposite of Yoongi who didn't seem to know what to do with his limbs.
Jimin smiled at him, the tips of his fake fangs digging into his plush lower lip. Yoongi knew he was staring but he couldn’t pull his gaze away as Jimin licked at his lips.
‘You can kiss me again if you want.’
Yoongi’s eyes snapped up to meet Jimin’s, there was a look of amusement on his face and Yoongi knew he was flushed red once again.
Jimin had caught him staring at his lips, must have known what was going through his stupid horny mind. Yoongi swallowed hard, trying to find the courage to lean over and kiss Jimin again.
He didn’t know if Jimin was tired of waiting, or if he could sense Yoongi’s shyness but he shuffled closer. His fingers still teasing at the hairs on Yoongi’s nape.
‘You’re so cute when you’re all flustered.’ Jimin whispered, his voice dropping an octave causing a wave of heat to rush through Yoongi.
Yoongi couldn’t bring himself to make eye contact again, he just picked at the label on his beer bottle some more, trying to calm down his racing heart.
He wished he wasn’t so bad at this. Jimin was clearly interested but he was so awkward he didn’t know what to do.
Thankfully Jimin was not a panicked mess and gently plucked the bottle from Yoongi’s hands, leaning over to place it on the coffee table before settling himself back next to Yoongi. He was now so close that Yoongi could’ve counted his eyelashes if he’d had the nerve to look up.
He felt Jimin’s fingers graze over his jaw, feather light touches before carefully guiding Yoongi to face him.
‘Hm, you really are such a pretty kitty.’ Jimin whispered and it took all of Yoongi’s muster to look up into Jimin’s eyes.
He was looking at him with such a soft tender smile and it made Yoongi’s heart flutter.
‘You’re the pretty one.’ He mumbled, voice barely audible.
Jimin giggled, light and airy, and perfect.
‘Aish hyung, you’re gonna make me blush.’ he teased.
Yoongi highly doubted he could ever do something so much as make Jimin blush but he preened at the words regardless.
Jimin smiled at him softly before pressing his lips to Yoongi’s once more.
Yoongi really could happily kiss Jimin forever.

The way he kissed had Yoongi craving more and more. It was slow and sensual, just the right amount of teasing as Jimin bit and sucked at his lips and tongue.
At some point Jimin had climbed onto his lap, caging Yoongi into the couch. Yoongi’s hands had automatically taken hold of his thighs, feeling the muscle shift beneath his fingers as Jimin moved to get comfortable.
Yoongi loved how in control Jimin was, that he could just let him take over and not overthink it.
Jimin trailed his lips down over Yoongi’s neck, teeth grazing over the smooth skin, it was hot and sexy but at the same time it wasn’t too much, and when Jimin whispered softly into his ear, ‘this okay?’ he felt a wave of assurance.
He let out a breathy ‘yeah’ and he could feel Jimin’s smile as he went back to kissing along his neck.
Yoongi could feel the way the fake fangs dragged against his skin and it was riling him up much more than it should have.
It didn’t help when Jimin sat up looking down at Yoongi with his darkened gaze, letting his tongue flick over one of the fangs.
For the first time that night Yoongi was brave and pulled Jimin back into another kiss.
Yep, definitely into the fangs.

He would have to deal with that new found kink another time. He was much more interested in more kissing.
They didn’t take things any further and Yoongi was glad, he wasn’t ready for that, instead they just enjoyed slowly making out on the couch in the warm fire lit room, that was until an incessant buzzing from Yoongi’s pocket interrupted them.
‘For fucks sake.’ Yoongi said with a groan pulling away from Jimin. Jimin sat up and brushed his hair back from his face, looking more gorgeous than ever and Yoongi’s annoyance grew as his phone buzzed once more.
‘Sorry, I just need to,’ he said fumbling to pull his phone free.
‘It’s fine.’ Jimin said, reaching for his forgotten beer as Yoongi finally pulled his phone free.
‘I’ll just turn it off.’ Yoongi said but then he saw the messages on his screen.
A barrage of texts from both Hobi.
His annoyance melted away in an instant.
‘Ah it’s Jungkookie and Taeyungie, they’re asking for me.’ He explained, guilt flooding through him. The kids had expected him to follow them home, then he hadn’t.
Jimin gave him an understanding smile.
‘Don’t suppose you’d fancy a movie night with the kids instead.’ Yoongi said with a hollow laugh, disappointed that his time with Jimin was cutting much shorter than he’d like.
‘Sure, what are we watching?’ Jimin asked.
‘Wait what, you want to?’
Yoongi hadn’t been expecting that, he’d only been joking.
‘Yeah, unless you don’t want that?’ He looked a little unsure now and it was cute, his expression completely different from a few moments ago.
‘I mean yes, I just didn't think you’d want to.’
‘Just let me get cleaned up first, and you might wanna do the same.’ Jimin said with a laugh as he climbed off Yoongi’s lap. It was only then that he realised the makeup that Jiwoo had put on him was probably smudged, much like the blood that had been on Jimin’s face.
He sent a quick message to Hobi saying he was on his way before following Jimin to the bathroom to sort themselves out, if they ended up kissing for a bit up against the bathroom sink no one had to know.
🖤🖤🖤🖤🖤
The walk back to Seokjin and Namjoon’s was quiet. Most of the kids were safely back in their homes and only the odd teenager still lurked about the streets. It was nice to walk through the neighbourhood pointing out the patterns carved into the pumpkins that glowed in the windows
They’d been walking about ten minutes when Jimin’s hand brushed against his, and he hadn't been able to stop himself from taking hold of it. Out of the corner of his eye he saw Jimin look over at him.
Yoongi avoided his gaze, but struggled to hide his smile when Jimin squeezed his hand lightly. It felt so nice to have Jmin’s smaller hand encased in his. He always liked hand holding, there was something sweet and tender about it.
He had to push away the thought that Jimin’s hand seemed to fit his perfectly.
He’d been enjoying his time with Jimin, the kissing was definitely something he’d like to do more of. But as they walked through the dark streets he found himself wanting to get to know Jimin more. They made casual small talk, it just made him more interested.
He liked talking to him, or listening to him, Yoongi was still having trouble getting over his shyness to talk a lot but it didn’t seem to bother Jimin. He seemed happy to talk for both of them, it made Yoongi feel more comfortable.
When they finally reached the Kim’s they were met with a wall of noise as Yoongi pushed open the door. Jungkook and Taehyung’s giggles and screams could be heard from the hallway, but Hobi’s were louder.
‘Prepare yourself for chaos.’ Yoongi warned as they kicked off their shoes.
They didn’t even make it to the sitting room door before Jungkook ran into the hallway squealing, he almost crashed straight into Yoongi’s legs but managed to stop himself just in time. His eyes lit up the second he noticed it was Yoongi.
‘HYUNG!’ He cried gleefully, jumping up into Yoongi’s arms, he was thankfully used to sudden appearances of Jungkook and caught him, Jungkook instantly flinging his arms around his neck. That was when he noticed Jimin stood behind Yoongi.
‘JIMIN-SSI!’
Yoongi was pretty sure his ear drum burst as Jungkook yelled right in his ear, scrambling to get down from Yoongi’s arms to rush at Jimin. Part of him felt a little rejected but he didn’t have time to dwell on it as his friends appeared in the doorway at the sound of Jimin’s name
He hadn’t mentioned in his message that Jimin was coming with him and now the three of them we’re looking at him with amused and devious looks. He glared at them, praying they would keep the teasing to a minimum.
Hobi had the nerve to wink at him, that devilish grin on his face.
Jimin had crouched down to let Jungkook hug him. He smiled sheepishly up at Yoongi’s friends and offered a cautious, ‘hi.’
Yoongi waiting for their teasing remarks but instead Seokjin just yelled
‘Ya Jungkook let him go! Come on, let's not linger in the hallway.’
Yoongi had never been more grateful for his hyung not making a big deal of Jimin’s appearance alongside him. Though he did get a questioning look as they all herded into the sitting room.
Yoongi quickly introduced Jimin to Seokjin and Namjoon.
‘I hope you don’t mind me tagging along to your movie night.’ Jimin said as he sat down beside Yoongi on the loveseat.
‘No of course not.’ Seokjin assured him.
‘Jimin-ssi can I sit with you?’ Jungkook asked clambering up onto Yoongi’s lap, using him as a bridge to Jimin.
His little bunny tail bobbing as he crawled over to Jimin, but Hobi grabbed him by around the middle and lifted him off.
‘You are not bothering Jimin all night.’ he said plopping his brother down on the big cushions that were laid out on the floor in front of the tv.
‘I don’t mind…’ Jimin tried but Yoongi cut him off,
‘Trust me you do, he’s a wriggler.’
Jungkook pouted but was easily distracted by Namjoon bringing through some banana milk for him.
‘So what are we watching?’ Yoongi asked once everyone began to settle down.
‘Hocus Pocus of course.’ Seokjin said there was no other possible option.
‘Oh I love that one!’ Jimin said.
‘We watch it every year.’ Yoongi said not even realising that it had become a sort of tradition.
Even Yoongi who didn’t really care about halloween had automatically loaded it to his watchlist on netflix before Hobi had asked him to join them for trick or treating.
As Seokjin set up the dvd Jimin cuddled into his side, looking over at him with a soft smile Yoongi easily returned. He was just wondering if Jimin would be okay with kissing him here when Taehyung appeared.
He wasn’t in his Joker costume anymore, instead he was wearing a fuzzy tiger onesie, his face scrubbed clean of makeup and a yellow plushie chick clutched in one hand. He was looking at Jimin with curious eyes.
‘Hi.’ Jimin said with a smile.
Taehyung was always a little funny with new people, it was different from Jungkook’s shyness, it was a careful cautiousness.
Jimin looked over at Yoongi, clearly unsure what to do with Tae’s quiet contemplation.
Yoongi was just about to reassure Taehyung when Jimin spoke again.
‘I like your chick.’ he said, sitting up a little so he was quiet so squished into Yoongi’s side.
Taehyung looked down at his plushie, and looked up again at Jimin.
‘He looks like you.’ Tae said.
‘Taehyung!’ Seokjin cried, ‘I’m sorry Jimin.’
‘No it’s okay,’ Jimin said giggling. ‘It does a bit doesn’t it, can I?’
He reached out for the plushie and Taehyung handed it over. Jimin looked at the plushie with a fond smile, he held it up beside his face and turned to Yoongi.
‘What d’you think?’ He pouted and Yoongi couldn’t help but laugh, Taehyung was right, the chick did look like Jimin. His pouty lips the exact same shape as the chick’s beak, /cute/.
‘I think Taehyungie is right.’
Jimin turned back to Taehyung smiling wide as he returned the plushie.
‘Maybe next year I should be a chick for halloween hm?’
‘Chicks aren’t scary.’ Jungkook interjected from where he was sat on the floor cushions.
He’d been watching the entire exchange.
‘Neither are bunnies but you're one.’ Taehyung told him. Which caused a mini meltdown of Jungkook declaring he was not a bunny, he was a werebunny and they were scary!
Yoongi struggled to hold in his laughs as Jungkook stomped his bunny foot on the floor, arms crossed across his chest. Which just made him look cuter.
It took a few minutes to get him calmed down again but he eventually agreed to sit beside Taehyung on the cushions, Hobi lying beside them as a mediator.
‘Okay, is everyone ready now?’
A chorus of yeses and he started the movie. Jimin snuggling into his side once again.
It was comfortable sitting with Jimin, he’d fit into the fold so easily. Hadn’t even complained when Jungkook had crawled over and up onto their laps mid-way through. He’d simply looked up at Yoongi and they’d shared a fond smile.
Neither of the kids lasted til the end of the movie, and Namjoon wasn’t far behind them. His head slumping onto Seokjin’s shoulder as the credits began to roll.
‘Oh no you don’t, if you think I’m carrying that tiger to bed you’re highly mistaken.’ He said nudging him awake.
Namjoon just smiled up at him sleepily and nodded. Yoongi managed to wriggle out from where he sat and carefully picked up Jungkook from where he’d cuddled into Jimin as he’d fallen asleep.
‘I’ll get the door.’ Jimin said quietly as he Yoongi headed for the bedrooms.
Namjoon following them with Taehyung in his arms.
When they’d tucked the kids in Namjoon disappeared to help tidy up leaving Yoongi and Jimin to linger for a moment. They were just about to step out when Jungkook’s voice broke the quiet.
‘Yoonie?’
‘Hey shush, it’s okay go back to sleep.’ Yoongi said crouching down beside the bed, softly stroking Jungkook’s hair. His eyes were still heavy with sleep but he smiled up at Yoongi.
‘The vampire got you.’ he whispered and at first Yoongi didn’t know what he was talking about, but then he felt Jungkook’s fingers touch his neck, the skin felt a little tender and he realised that was where Jimin had been kissing him hours before.
‘Uh yeah but it’s okay.’
‘Are you a vampire kitty now?’ He asked, Yoongi huffed a gentle laugh.
‘Yeah.’
Jungkook nodded sleepily and his eyes fluttered closed again. Yoongi waited a few minutes but he didn’t stir again.
Jimin was waiting for him in the hallway, a teasing smile on his face.
‘Vampire kitty?’ he asked.
‘Yah that’s your fault!’ He retorted but Jimin just giggled.
‘Not my fault you look good enough to eat.’ he said stepping closer to Yoongi, ‘and don’t pretend you didn’t like it.’
‘I- that’s not-’ Yoongi sputtered but he didn’t really have an argument and Jimin knew it. He pressed a kiss to Yoongi’s jaw, his fingers gripping his hips lightly.
‘Hm, just as I thought.’
‘When you two are done flirting, Hobi has cracked opened some wine.’ Seokjin’s voice startled them apart. Yoongi knew for the nth time that night his cheeks would be flushed red.
‘Red or white?’ Jimin asked, clearly not feeling the embarrassment at being caught that Yoongi was.
‘One of each.’ Seokjin said he headed back in towards the sitting room, Jimin following.
‘My favourite answer.’
‘I like this one Yoongi-yah.’ Seokin shouted back to him.

Yoongi just stood in the hallway for a moment, willing his red cheeks to go down.
When he finally braved the sitting room his friends were sat chatting with Jimin who handed him a glass of wine as he sank into the seat beside him.
Jimin gave his thigh a reassuring squeeze and Yoongi found himself hoping this wouldn’t be the last time he saw him. Even more so as he watched Jimin laugh openly at Seokjin’s bad jokes and chatted easily with Hobi, Namjoon snoozing unbothered, his head in Seokjin’s lap.
A stupid hopeful part of him loved how easily Jimin fell in with his friends, and loved the way he leaned into Yoongi.
When it was time to say goodbye Yoongi had been tempted to ask Jimin to stay, but he knew that probably was too soon.
‘So am I gonna get to see my pretty kitty again?’ Jimin asked as they waited in the doorway for his taxi home.
‘Yeah, I’d like that.’
They’d exchanged numbers and Jimin had left him with one last kiss which made him feel all warm and fuzzy inside. As he watched the taxi pull away, Jimin waving from the back seat he couldn’t stop smiling.
Yoongi had never been that bothered about halloween before, but as of that night it was his favourite holiday, and it was all thanks to a pretty boy dressed as vampire.
