I wish to bring to your attention the first and immediate steps that @NGRPresident must take

for the protesters to even begin to think that the Govt is listening to them or understandably feel their pains.

The approach by the govt is aggravating the situation due to deeply rooted distrust and majoring on the minor

Let me set out a brief prognosis for you to feel the

Protesters, if only you can.

As an Afro artist based in Germany, I plait my hair, at times dye them with different colours and have tattoos because this is part of the identity of my art. I also uses smart phones and move about with my computer daily

There is no way the German Police/ Cybercrime Agency would arrest me or even stop me on the way because of how I look or that I have smart phones or move about with my laptop computer.

The above have been the trend in Nigeria for years, @PoliceNG does it and @officialEFCC

has joined the trend. This is just a small part of how the youth have been brutalized and voilated by agencies that were meant to protect them. Let's pause little and get some factual infos into this thread

Brief enquiry made with the @CorrectionsNg reveals that from Sept 2015

Detainees standing trial increased by almost 400% and a 95% of the increase were by SARS Unit of the @PoliceNG and @officialEFCC. Both agency operates the same save to the extent that SARS uses force and involves in extra judicial killing. @officialEFCC destroy a youth's future

The first step is for the IG of @PoliceNG to immediately resign because at the beginning of this thread, a survey of above 10,000 votes, 97% of protesters want the IG to resign. That's a conclusive proof that the IG position has become untenable.

It also validates the

principle of collective responsibility where an individual member incharge of an agency is held accountable for the actions of that agency

The IG is incharge of the @PoliceNG at the moment, there is a general agreement with overwhelming evidence that SARS is culpable, the IG

must take the fall.

Do not make the small officers escape goat. Those small officers must be prosecuted for their individual actions but senior officers in the ranks of IG, DIGs in particular Operations, must resign or be sacked.

Another section that have made the impunity

to last this long are the prosecutors of the Federal Ministry of Justice and State Ministry of Justice. These are the officers who prosecute those who survives the brutality of SArS and intimidation and humiliation of @officialEFCC with little or no evidence just to keep their

jobs. Senior prosecutors must be relieved of their jobs in particular, DPPs and most Senior State Counsels of all the 36 States of the Federation and the FCT as well as the Head of Legal of the @officialEFCC Zonal Officers.

To overwhelmingly prove to the protesters that you

heard them loud and clear, mandate the National Judicial Commission to recommend for immediate termination the services of most judges who aids and abet these atrocities in both State and Federal Judiciary.

Take this immediate action and see the protesters leave the streets.

I am not saying the above action is a permanent solution but immediate temporary measures before short terms and long term measures are put in place

I am not an expert and do not claim to be one but I have the pulse of an average Nigerian protester who is occupying the street
