Undermining the election you say?

✅ Schumer’s Super PAC just shared a doctored email suggesting Joni Ernst lost an endorsement (she didn’t)

✅ MI Dems doctored a video to lie about John James

✅ Jaime Harrison is trying to trick voters into voting for someone who dropped out
.@rachelgirwin is the comms director for Schumer’s Super PAC. Here she is sharing a doctored email suggesting Joni lost the Iowa Farm Bureau endorsement.

This misinformation was shared and retweeted by @davidaxelrod, @greenfield64, and several other large accounts
Here’s Michigan Democrats sharing a doctored video of @JohnJamesMI where they actually cut off his answer.

This piece of disinformation was willingly shared by @GaryPeters (surprise surprise) and consistent purveyor of anti-GOP misinformation @JohnJHarwood.
Here’s the full answer they cut off.

I’ve been informed that about 1,000 people have reported @elenakuhn to @Twitter because this fits their standard for labeling as deceptively edited manipulated media.

I’m hopeful they’ll do the right thing here. @TwitterSupport @TwitterDC
Last but not least, here’s @harrisonjaime relying on deceiving voters into voting for a candidate who dropped out and endorsed Graham.

Cc @SenSchumer @amyklobuchar @ChrisMurphyCT lots of additional things for you to discuss.

Good reporting here from Jake. Democrats haven’t moved an inch from Pelosi’s HEROES Act..

... which was a nonstarter for a dozen moderate *House Democrats* who attacked it as a political exercise with no chance of becoming law.

All relief is being held up for this.
Republicans are pushing for funding to safely reopen schools, direct checks for families, PPP loans, and money for testing.

Democrats say none of that can happen without paychecks for illegal immigrants, tax cuts for wealthy NYers, and environmental justice grants.
Moderate Democrats actually ran ads touting votes *against* Pelosi’s bill.

They didn’t think the pandemic was the moment to demand “diversity reports" for cannabis businesses.

But that bill is the Democrat’s red line now if you’re wondering if they actually want a deal.

5,000 is about the number of people in line at a single Trader Joe’s between 6-8 PM on a weeknight.

Nice of CNN to try and add a few more signatures though.
Just for context, here are some more successful petitions you can currently find over at change.org. (And they probably didn’t get CNN coverage)

Getting rid of Yoplait cups — 133K people!
Create Ruth Bader Ginsburg themed ice cream. 9K signatures.

You really can’t play the “not all Hispanic people with the same last name are related” card if you actually ARE related and come from the same line of Lujáns.
Lujáns have been in New Mexico politics for generations, and both have discussed coming from the same powerful family tree extensively.

When he was chosen as DCCC Chairman, WaPo referred to them as cousins. I wonder if anyone sought a correction.

The gaslighting effort to rewrite history on New York’s Coronavirus performance is outrageous.

There’s a good chance Coronavirus outbreaks around the country would be a fraction of what they are if New York leaders hadn’t failed in every way.
Everyone has seen the NYT study about New York seeding outbreaks around the country.

nytimes.com/2020/05/07/us/…

This is one reason it happened— New York leaders actively dismissed WH guidance to quarantine if they travel to other states. Pure arrogance.

For every day New Yorkers, absolutely wonderful to see that their lockdown prevented an worse outcome.

But they should be furious that their leaders public bickering allowed 50-80% more deaths than necessary, and far more spread than was necessary.

Democrats are debuting new messaging to gaslight the country to blame Republicans for delaying COVID relief after DEMOCRATS:

✅ Filibustered the CARES Act after bipartisan negotiations
✅ Held CARES hostage for Green New Deal nonsense
✅ Blocked Small Biz paychecks for 2 weeks
Lets go back even FURTHER though -- as @DanCrenshawTX pointed out, the administration first requested funding to fight COVID on 2/24.

Pelosi put that off to first vote on banning flavored tobacco -- her higher priority.

On Phase 3 (the CARES Act) McConnell convened large group -- 8 Republican Senators, 8 Democrat Senators, and representatives of the admin to negotiate a bill.

Chuck Schumer said he was "delighted" with the bipartisan cooperation of negotiations.

Speaker Pelosi is really stepping in it tonight.
Is @SpeakerPelosi comfortable suggesting that “our nation *doesn’t* salute Charles McGee?”
In addition to so many other heroes, the President expressed support for Venezuelan President Juan Guaido.

Pelosi herself stood and applauded for Guaido. Does she not actually agree with that support?
