#HappeningNow: Top officials of @OfficialNCDMB are currently participating at the Two-Day Public Hearing organised by the Joint Senate Committee and House Committee on Nigerian Content Development and Monitoring, holding at the National Assembly Complex, Abuja.
The Executive Secretary NCDMB, Engr. Simbi Kesiye Wabote (@wabote_simbi) is being represented by Director Planning, Research & Statistics, Mr. Daziba Patrick Obah.
Other management staff in attendance are Director Legal Services, Barr. Mohammed Babangida Umar; General Manager, Capacity Building Division, Dr. Ama Ikuru (@amabikuru) and General Manager Planning Research and Statistics, Mr. Abdulmalik Halilu.
The Public Hearing will focus on:
1) Bill for an Act to amend Nigerian Oil and Gas Industry Content Development Act, Cap 2, 2010 and other maters connected thereto.
2) Bill for an Act to enact Nigerian Local Content Act for the Development, Regulation and Enforcement of Nigerian Content in all sectors of the Nigerian economy except Oil and Gas Industry Sector; and for related matters.

The Executive Secretary of NCDMB, Engr. Simbi Kesiye Wabote (@wabote_simbi) and the Director General of @NITDANigeria , Mr. Kashifu Inuwa Abdullahi made the decision after a meeting they held via the Teams online meeting platform on Tuesday.
The ES NCDMB, Engr. @wabote_simbi rep by Dr. @amabikuru in his opening speech said “Today marks another important milestone in NCDMB’s journey towards the development of Technical capability in-country with the ultimate goal of attaining the mandate of the NOGICD Act 2010”
This training reflects NCDMB’s commitment towards strategic and value adding collaboration with key stakeholders in the oil and gas industry and its linkage sectors to drive the development and utilization of Local capacities and capably and retain industry spend in-country.
This training which was informed by the need to urgently address the existing critical gaps in ASNT Level III professionals in-country, is part of the Boards commitment to train and certify One Hundred (100) Nigerians in ASNT Level III professionals.
