Who are "Work From Home (WFH)" Technology Solution Providers, Opportunities & Potential..

Thread 👇
1. Work From home ~ Solution(BCP) comprises of the following:

1. Hardware – PC, Headphones, Power Backup & Other Accessories
2. Internet – Data
3. Video-telephony App &
4. Secured Environment to Work

& of-course things like physical space, noise proof room, table & chair
2. *Hardware*
The business sales does have positive impact & its momentary only. Desktop users purchase Laptops, head-phones, UPS etc

Few names: Dell, HP, Lenovo, Logitech, Lumax etc
3. *Internet*
Data is very key, in India the key players are local cable operators, Act, Jio, Bharti, BSNL & Vi

*Video-Telephony App*
Zoom & Teams are leaders followed by GTM, WebX and 100s of small players.
4. *Secured Environment to Work*
The key component for WFH is secured environment, not many non IT Savvy investors have understood the potential here.

Many IT Savvy investors think its VPN which allows employees to access the server, data & apps.
5. Challenges in VPN:
**VPN is a temporary not permanent solution
**VPN do not scale-up to such a large user base
**Security Issues

We think WFH will be there for a year or two, we will move back to Office. *Not True*
6. Many large enterprises & businesses never tested their large no. of employees working from home.

Pandemic forced to experiment large number of users work from home, and out-come was no drop in productivity & efficiency (of-course there are other addressable challenges).
7. If no drop in efficiency & productivity, what does it mean for Large Enterprises?
*** Cost Savings - Commercial Space Rent, Electricity, Maintenance, Transport, Canteen & many other costs.
8. Many organization are vocal about WFH will be a new normal.

Example: TCS plans to allow 75% of its workforce to work from home by 2025
300K plus employees work from home by 2025 at TCS?
indiatvnews.com/business/news-…
9. If TCS planned to move 75% of its staff to WFH, this should be good for any other services orgs, contact centers, call center, support & many other sectors.

Huge Potential - likely-hood of many organization moving their employees to WFH.
10. Lets re-visit Secured Technology (Environment) to work, what I mean is - its basically Secured Digital Workspace required to access data, app & server securely.

Who are the large players in this space?
11. Digital Workspace Providers:
1. Citrix
2. Microsoft
3. Vmware
4. AWS &
5. Others

As per IDC, Virtual Client Computing 1H19 Market Share – Leading Share Provides Incumbency Advantage to Respond to Real-Time Demand for Remote Computing
Capabilities
12. **Business Potential**

Definitely damn huge, imagine if VPN gets replaces with Digital Workspace & the enterprises globally planning to move their workforce to WFH.

📲India's Super-App: Jio?

If that's the case why so many well known brands - FB, Google, Qualcomm, Silver Lake, Vista, KKR & many other invested in Jio?

Thread 👇 1/17... Image
2/ What I observed is the categories of people - grapes are sour intellects & limited insight analysts keep ranting that Jio is one more Airtel or BigBasket with poor services, whats so great about it.
