NOW: @TeamTrump campaign manager @BillStepien says they're teaming up with the RNC for a $55 million ad buy over the next two weeks, in Arizona, Iowa, North Carolina, Michigan, and Wisconsin.
Campaign spending directly on ads in Arizona, Florida, Georgia, ME-2, Michigan, North Carolina, Nevada, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin
Stepien says outside pro-Trump groups' spending lets the campaign to "bob and weave and redirect" its' own funds.
Campaign will also go back on the air with its' own money in Iowa and Ohio.
"We're as confident as ever in our pathway to victory," @BillStepien says.
.@GOPChairwoman says the $55mm ad buy is targeted at seniors to tell them that the Biden health plan will be a step to eliminate private health insurance in favor of a single-payer plan.
(Seniors have access to Medicare, which is a single-payer plan)
"it's going to be a great last two weeks, we're very excited," @GOPChairwoman says.
"We're going to win Florida," @BillStepien declares.
We have a better candidate, we're running the better campaign," Stepien adds.
NON SEQUITUR: @JasonMillerinDC says the hearings for Judge Barrett have put @JoeBiden "on defense," complains that no one is asking Biden about the "BUT HIS EMAILS" @RudyGiuliani-drive smears that even @FoxNews would not touch, mocks Biden for taking time for debate prep.
.@JasonMillerinDC says "everyone that goes to cookout [NC place where @JoeBiden got a milkshake] knows a much better option is a root beer float or a @Cheerwine float."
Thoughts, NC people?
.@BillStepien mocks @TeamJoe's ad spending, says @TeamTrump is "actually running a real campaign and national campaign" because it has events and surrogates
(most of the surrogates for @realDonaldTrump are his family members)
.@JasonMillerinDC is currently blatantly lying about the topics for Thursday's debate.
He's claiming the @debates commission has changed the focus from foreign policy.
The third debate topic was NEVER supposed to be about foreign policy. It was ALWAYS the moderator's choice.
After complaining that the @debates commission is committing "election interference," @JasonMillerinDC says @realDonaldTrump is still feeling confident about this week's debate.
Call ends.

NEW: Veterans of 2016 and past Republican campaigns say Trumpworld's push to turn @JoeBiden into @HillaryClinton by attacking his family and making baseless claims about his health is evidence that the Trump campaign is out of ideas and is doomed to fail. independent.co.uk/voices/hunter-…
One former Trump confidante and campaign official said the 2020 brain trust "has realized that nothing they’ve done has worked, so they’re going back to what they originally did, which was to create chaos and create distractions.” independent.co.uk/voices/hunter-…
The ex-Trump campaign official, who asked to remain anonymous because of Trump's tendency to sue people, said the president's obsession with Hunter Biden is "so bizarre" and is backfiring by making people feel empathy for the Biden family. independent.co.uk/voices/hunter-…
FYI: For those of you complaining about the various media fails happening this morning, please keep in mind:
Nearly every political reporter you see on TV or in major print publications was hired from an internship or FT gig at another major outlet, based on word of mouth. 1/
Nearly all the media job listings for political reporting positions are only posted publicly to satisfy legal requirements for doing so. They are almost always tailored to describe the person who the hiring manager plans on hiring. 2/
For all the talk about how so-and-so individual journalist relies on special access, the reality is that with some exceptions, reporters' ability to get information is heavily dependent on what outlet they work for. COVID-19 has made this even more true. 3/
NEW: @realDonaldTrump’s bout w/ COVID could further focus voters’ attention on the candidates to be the world's most famous second banana, one of whom, @mike_pence, is currently one obese 74-year-old coronavirus patient’s heartbeat away from the presidency.independent.co.uk/voices/kamala-…
DC Uber-lawyer Robert Barnett, who played Pence during @TimKaine's debate prep, said Harris faces "a whole different situation" than Kaine did in 2016 "because there's not going to be one moment of discussion of [Pence's] Indiana record. independent.co.uk/voices/kamala-…
"In 2016, [Pence] had to defend then-candidate Trump as a reality show host and a real estate developer. Now he's got to defend the top of the ticket as a four-year incumbent, and that's a very different burden," Barnett explained. independent.co.uk/voices/kamala-…
