Day 4 - "Maa Kushmanda".

Kushmanda refers to 3 distinct words" Ku" which means little, "Ushma" which means energy, "Anda" which means egg.

By combining 3 words the name derived the one who is the creator of "little cosmic egg". This is also a happy avtar of Maa Kushmanda. It
is said that when the universe was non existent and there was darkness everywhere, Maa produced this “little cosmic egg” with her smile.
After creating the Universe, Ma  created the first beings. These were three supreme Devi with her left eye, she created a
Very angry & terrorising form and named her "Mahakali". From her center eye she created another ferocious form and named her "Mahalakshmi". From her right eye, came an extremely benevolent form, which she named "Mahasaraswati".
From the body of Mahakali a male & femle took birth male had 5 head and 10 arms. He was named as "Shiva"& female had one head and 4 arms her named was kept as "Saraswati".

From the body of Mahalakshmi a male and female also took birth a male had 4 head & 4 arms Maa named him
As "Brahma" and female was named as "Lakshmi" one with one head & 4 arms.

Mahasaraswati also gave birth the male had 1 head & 4 arms Maa nmed him "Vishnu" & female had one head and four arms Maa named her "Shakti".

Then she offered Shakti to Shivji, Lakshmi to Vishnu ji &
Saraswati to Brahma.

Therefore Maa Kushmanda absorbed the Tridevi and herself entered Shakti as an orb of divine & unending energy.

Maa kushmanda have eight arm she is also known as Ashtabhuja Dharini.

She weilds Kamandal, Arrow, Bow, Chakra, mace, Jaap mala, pot of nector.
She rides in a lion which evokes fearless in her bhakts. She brings all pleasure and regular worshiping brings power, prosperity & salvation. She destroys all trouble & hurdle of her true bhakts.
