Your recent statement that you will not sign the 2021 budget until the ASUU demands as well as the demands of the victims of police brutality has been captured is very courageous.
In addition, we demand you don't sign until Banditry & Kidnappings in the North
has been put to an end, until the Presidency has stated clearly the path to ending it, listen to our complaints & demands too.
I call on all Northerners to hold their @nassnigeria representatives responsible until this is achieved.
We demand that all our representative push for this demand of the #SecureNorth movement. We are peacefully demanding for this, and that is what we vote you & pay you to do.
Tag your reps, send them WhatsApp messages, demand for action from them now.
Let me make it clear, that I do not make posts to please anyone, a friend or a foe. I make posts that even before God, I believe I am right whether someone is offended or not. On this app, I have exchanged words with many, including Adamu here.
I have never known him from Adam, & I have never met him. We agree on certain things & disagree on others, which applies even to the people I m closest to in real life here, @_abba_g is one & I criticise political leaders I respect, like HE @elrufai, & mentors like @DrIsaPantami.
I do not know how I missed this post even though we follow each other with Adamu. I checked if I had muted his posts, but I didn't. The short of the long story is, I would have disagreed with Adamu the moment I see the post. Although you cannot do away with political inclinations
More than ever as a leader, several failures of this govt to fix the most basic demands of Nigerians is staring at you in the face. Nigerians have come out to express their grievances & the EndSARS protest should be seen beyond ending police brutality.
There is a total collapse of security apparatus, as people are being killed daily in the north. Insecurity is becoming increasingly popular & people are poor. There is an unacceptable level of hardship in the land, amidst plenty. The country is blessed with resources, yet we do
not benefit largely from these resources. Everything is under the political class, and almost nothing comes down to us the masses. This is unacceptable in the least. The nation needs to wake up & you need to listen to our calls. I will suggest as follows:
Now that the reality is facing a lot of mischievous people like this thing here @AishaYesufu, they would either begin to change the narrative like @Omojuwa did, or say it is an error, as @EiENigeria did or even make a turn like this callous woman did in the video below.
In the frame above, her demands are numerous. She wants the IG @PoliceNG sacked, instigated youths against some Commissioners of Police, insisted on a townhall meeting for three hours with all the protesters & so on. In s time of emotions, when you push this down the throat of
protesters, you are only calling for disregard of law & other. That was what she did. Then suddenly, it is about "singularity of purpose, End SARS". You people have taken advantage of innocent Protesters to pursue your evil agenda & have succeeded in destroying lives.
You are a shameless woman YESUFU. Close those stinky & odorous mandibles of yours. You have never supported a Northern cause. You ve always spit rancor against anything Arewa, expectedly. You want to plunge us into chaos as you did Lagos? You have failed, La'ananniya.
La'ananne kawai ke tayar da zaune tsaye, & you have qualified every definition of that. Allah best us witness, we have & are still using every means to speak to the powers that be about insecurity in the North & we have never relented. To come with such evil narrative is well
understood. We know what you want to achieve; to see blood and more bloods of protesters in the North as you championed it in Lagos & other parts of Nigeria. We are too intelligent to understand that even before you started the move & it has failed. Handle the bloods on your
Two days ago, I tweeted this, as a clarion call to our youth in the North to not create chaos in an already chaotic atmosphere. The reasons are becoming clearer today, as the breakdown of law & order has taken over some states of the federation.
The security situation in Northern Nigeria has been terrible for long & many lives have been wasted. The ongoing protests are a sign, a very big warning that everything is not alright. The earlier the Govt wake up & solve these problems the better. This cannot continue.
We call on all stakeholders, especially from the North to wake up & speak to the President. It is all of you that have failed us. From the President, state Governors, Ministers, Senators, Members & every stakeholder. You have failed your people. You have failed us.
