Checking up on you

A few people have checked up on me, to find out how I am doing, and if I am safe. That they have not heard from me for a few days.

Thank you. I am safe, burdened like most people are, but safe.

I have been turning my worries to prayers

Using my anger to read my Bible
And listening to be guided
And staying off negative information as much as I can
Receiving all sorts of videos and information… watching very selectively
Hearing a few gun shots from a little distance
It’s not easy… /2

I trust God for grace.

I am fine. Thank you
God says power is changing hands.

What about you? How are you? Hope you are keeping safe?
If you are in Lagos, please stay indoors, tell your children too.

If you are out of Lagos, do stay safe as well, it will get heated in many places.
This is not time to prove points
He who fights and runs away, lives to fight another day.

I mourn with those who mourn today
The heart of the wise is in the house of mourning

Nobody needed to die for a New Nigeria to emerge
Those who take other’s lives into their hands will get their due judgement

Any words of comfort for today?

Yes.
God rules and reigns in the affairs of men. /5

He is sovereign
Nothing, no matter how terrible is outside the scope of His will
Even when we veer off the wrong turn, the GPS of destiny recalculates
If God can use COVID-19 that took millions of lives
He will use these incidents that have claimed so many lives

To open fire on innocent citizens is a mistake.
A mistake that someone must take responsibility for and account for
Everything is working together for our good.
Everything is for us; nothing is against us.
God’s plan for us is good, not evil. His thoughts towards us are good.

There will be an outcome! God’s will, will be done.

Get out of that STATE, allow yourself to breathe
