Webinar is live on on The Misadventures of Pakistan in Jammu & Kashmir 1947-2020, Where we discuss the Legal and Historical stake of Pakistan in Jammu & Kashmir

Listen in - @SengeHSering clearly points out 'Pakistan was not a sovereign nation on 14th of August' 1947 - Pakistan was just an Independent Dominion'
'We need to break this cycle of pointing out the atrocities of Pakistan every year & move beyond!'
We now have @Criticastery who states that Pakistan as dominion had no locus standi to begin jihadist war with India'

Lets drive this point home #22OctBlackDay
We next have Harbans Singhji who talks about a memorandum written to President of India by the Maharaja in 1953 which had a detailed overview of Maharaja's thoughts on the future of his diverse kingdom that had not seen any communal riots in 100 years of his rule #22OctBlackDay
Prof Sajjadji @NEP_JKGBL begins with stating that there is no rule of law in POJK, no concept of fundamental freedom or real 'democracy' in Pakistan. He appeals to international community to recognise that Pakistan is a state that sponsors fundamentalism, militancy & terrorism
On the recent declaration of elections in Gilgit Baltistan, @SengeHSering says that whatever Pakistan is trying to do in Gilgit region is illegal - its outside their scope. Pakistan should just focus on withdrawing its forces and people from Gilgit Baltistan
On plebiscite @Criticastery says 'UN had misgivings of a plebiscite themselves as logistics and modality would not let a plebiscite to occur; a plebiscite was never a solution then and would be an insult to intelligence to talk about any such plebiscite now'
'People of Gilgit Baltistan and POJK have realised that they have no future with Pakistan; an authentic survey conducted by British journalist Tanvir Ahmed showed that 73.3% of people of POJK don't want to live with Pakistan' says @NEP_JKGBL
To conclude Prof Sajjadji @NEP_JKGBL says that Pakistan is not a legal party to the dispute; people of POJK and Gilgit Baltistan are all legal citizens of India just like the rest of the people of Jammu and Kashmir! @TeamBharat_ @JammuKashmirNow @MEAIndia @TheRealKashmir_
