and here we are having the oil industry debate and Biden fell into it. this is the exact same argument HRC tried to say. We'll see if it matters coming from Biden.
Walker did an amazing job despite the levels of "intimidation" beforehand. Guessing some of you realize why.

America takes actions to prevent people from voting. Gerrymandering, redistricting, dividing colleges in half to dilute the power of their vote, moving polling places, stripping the right from those that have already served their time. Voter ID laws, intimidation, gutting the VRA
In Florida now another form of poll taxes by removing those that owe the state any fees. Holding up registrations. finding excuses to purge people from the rolls like exact match. Now during the pandemic TX removing ballot boxes instead of increasing them.
Telling people they can't come in to vote with a mask on using voter id as the weapon. Using exact match on signatures to throw out ballots. Slowing down the mail. Forcing people to have provisional votes cast. Changing the rules in last few weeks to confuse voters.

All three of these people jumped in my mentions to either tell me I was "wrong" about something or didn't like my take on issues including disinfo, parenting or politics. All of whom I believe are WM.

Then they block cause I ain't backing down. That a daily BW's life #onhere ImageImageImage
When others think they can speak for us be clear it's been a strategy on these platforms to silence us first. Cause they don't like what we have to say. We ain't violating terms of services like they are but we are the ones systematically shut down cause WM don't want to hear us.
signing off on stories about us without us. The silencing of our voices is cross platforms. Cross news outlets. Cross academic programs.

You all demand "free speech" you don't ever actually mean us but 1A groups will use us as the cudgel.

To get Black mothers to stand down the first threat is to their children. Yet this country uses the stereotype that we are the worst mothers and can not protect our children in almost every daily message. When what we really can't control is how the state treats our children.
That when we speak up to protect our children we are the villains instead of those attempting to cause our children and our families harm. Harms from the state and those racists that will be protected by the state.
Samples that you see every day. the MI judge that took that 15-year-old from her mother and said she was flourishing in the cages of the state detention. That somehow being with her mother was more harmful. thegrio.com/2020/07/21/mic…

I honestly take issue with any of my people that would vote for a white nationalist and someone that would allow over 95k and counting Americans die. And we are dying at a higher rate right now.

That said Biden still has work to do. His Lift Every Voice black agenda is a start.
But there are other agendas he should be considering and responding to.

Let me tell you about a moment in time while I was living in the projects in Harlem. Then I'm going to get back work and do a few re-organizing tasks.

I was about ten. And it was clear to me my world was changing. I was never sure if others saw it the way I did.
it was during the time I was playing video games at the arcade room. fighting up against the boys I was beating and the store owner that didn't really want me there cause he couldn't make any money.

One day my two BFFs come to me and tell me about a job. They were so excited
Extra money was something I was completely down for. Cause I was poor. And they didn't know it at the time but I was basically down for whatever with them. They were my crew.

I've tried over and over to get folks to see in my community how we are targeted by disinfo. All the there isn't "real impact" is about to be proven wrong with #DatRona we aren't immune to this virus no more than we are immune to disinformation and take actions we shouldn't.
Right now folks are in my mentions sharing disinfo even about my reports and what I said but have no knowledge of data, visualizations and never believe Russia interfered despite 17 agencies saying otherwise.
the really interesting part is that they are railing against elites. it's now clear they don't know what that means. They want to compare my report to some university. Isn't that elite? but I'm elite because I no longer live in the projects but I do this work. #MakeItMakeSense
