People who are told by the NHS Covid-19 app to isolate should follow the instructions.

Yet because it's not a legally binding duty to isolate if the app tells you to, you can't get the £500 payment for doing it.…
To apply - you will need to phone or apply online to your local council and submit supporting evidence.

Councils will deliver the payments and administer the system, according to the government.…
