I will give you a list of major ones who I think are good frankly I never worry about the whole spin off aspect as long as they bring something NEW to the table besides gender but I will talk about that.
Power Girl is TECHNICALLY a spin off of Superman but she has her own name and style and often is not really part of his stories the Palmioti/Conner run is a good one for her.
Black Canary has VARIOUS solo runs and Mini series, I like her in the Green Arrow 90's stories where she becomes the co-star in all but name, and Birds of Prey was ACTUALLY mostly about her so I recommend that run specifically the Gail Simone era.
She Hulk might SEEM like a female Hulk, but starting with her late 80's run turned into a MUCH more unique character to the point that I often call her the Wonder Woman of Marvel, she has a comedy focus and DID the deadpool 4th wall thing WAY BEFORE him.
Stargirl is not really a spin off of a male counterpart, it's complex but the character she is based on IS VERY obscure and she has eclipsed him in name and role.
Some people might argue this but it should be noted that Witchblade lasted DECADES and still has a place in comics. Her new series I find eh, but her classic comics are solid cheese and the Ron Marz run is considered some of the best stuff of it's time.
This is a spin off but I feel I need to talk about this, Spider-girl is the ONLY MARVEL heroine to make to 100 straight issues without a relaunch NO ONE ELSE has made it without a renumber or a break in publication. She sold so well she made it to 100.
Black Widow even before the Avengers push was in a bunch of solo material of varying quality, a cool character sometimes given the shaft in terms of comics but she has various mini series.
Black Orchid is kind of an obscure one, but this was Neil Gaiman first crack at a dc character before Sandman and she got a Vertigo series by someone else later, you will either like this or find it pretentious but it's out there.
All right time to talk about the 90's Supergirl comic, So at the time Superman was MEANT to be the only actual Krptonian in comics this meant that Supergirl is not from Krypton, and the Peter David run is a story about an angel with the Superman symbol.
Why I bring this up, is that he later made a creator own Character called Fallen Angel that was meant to be HER, so if you want context for that run at least in a meta sense you can look to her as a spin off who very much is her own thing even though legally she can't
Catwoman is a borderline case but she's been able to maintain a solo for decades and I feel like she has a lot of good material. She doesn't become female Batman ever. I recommend the Ed Brubaker stuff.
Chase is not a long lasting one and is NOT a superhero story but.... created before Jessica Jones this agent who looks into the superhero world has a secret and this look into heroes was rather unique at the time plus it has STELLAR art. Easy read.
Madame Xanadu is a pretty good as well, she had a more recent vertigo run that was very acclaimed and plays with Arthurian lore and redemption. A cool character not a lot of people talk about.
Another one who is technically a female spin off is Kate Spencer the Manhunter, now SHE has the longest ongoing compared to her male counterparts and only one other Manhunter is considered essential. Essentially a single mom layer superhero this comic is a banger.
Promethea by Alan Moore. It's a weird one but it's out there.
and We will leave it off with Zatanna, a major DC heroine she is technically a female spin off too but NO one cares about Zatara. She has had various runs over the decades some good, some okay. There is only ONE really bad moment with her ever and it's not in one of her series.
Yeah there are more these are just the ones that come to mind and keep in mind various superteam books can have a lot of females heroes like Runaways and even some X-men teams. I don't worry about Spin off heroines because honestly there are MORE good then bad.
If anyone wants to put some recommendations here feel free. I know I'm forgetting some here and there.

The penance stare is actually a VERY RECENT power compared to a lot of other things in the Marvel universe existing with the Danny Ketch version of Ghost Rider which was created in the 90's.
Now here are the facts it doesn't care if you feel guilt at least with Danny, it burns you for SINS, the ways around it are, being blind, being on drugs, HAVING NO SOUL. It also cause USE TO FEEL ALL THE PAIN YOU CAUSED ANYONE.
One of the things I like to do is to find obscure little niche titles or events that don't get talked about today, or written up. Today were looking at a unique "crossover" that is very different today we are look at the comics of the Marvel Universe.
So Backstory even since the 60's in Fantastic 4 there has been an In universe comic company who makes comics based on their adventures. This has been used as a running gag throughout the decades at Marvel.
Now as funny a gag it is, the comics can't exactly be 100 percent what we read in the real world right? For one while it's uncommon now many heroes had secret identities and some where out right hated. What would they be actually like is at least a fun question.
Things I don’t like to consider canon for Spider-Man. Besides the Quesada duology.
*any comic that says he’s a Yankees fan
*anything to do with Chaper one
*blade issue one by Marc Guggenheim
*all the deaths in Spiderverse
*Bendis sybiote retcons
*that one power pack special.
The last one os good intentions but probably is for the best it’s never mentioned again.
I will talk about Slott one day big I need to save that up.
You can tell a comic lacks a dedicated fanbase when someone doesn't even BOTHER to scan your second volume up anywhere. Not that I'm a strictly a piracy guy(I own about 3000 graphic novel and trades) but when you find a comic online it's actually kind of shocking.
This is also published by Image so it's not like it's a no name publisher but I like having images to support my claims and I try to avoid digital for personal reading UNLESS it's the only option.
So all this talk about Prom in media made me THINK of something, at first I thought maybe a look at Proms in something but of course people know me and I often come back to Spider-man, and with that I said is there an actual Spider-man prom story?
Spider-man is often thought of the first TRUE teenage superehreo and with that thought, I had to think about stories that you see in teen media that Spider-man has told but here's the truth of it, Spider-man in the original comics was of course only in high school for 28 issues.
Now there have been stories about DANCES most notable is Spectacular Spider-man but prom has a weird place in America with how much emphases media puts on it, and it's NOT ANYWHERE IN THE ORIGINAL COMICS.
All right if any PERSON want to get Batman A death in the family digitally THEN I have to say DON'T DON'T DO IT!
They don't tell you this but the interactive features are NOT ON THE DIGITAL release, they are ONLY ONE THE BLU RAY VERSION! This is a case where I can't in good conscious even for convenience say Digital is at all a good idea. It gets worse.
The unique fucked up what if scenarios can't be viewed IN all versions, so even if you just want to see the weirdo alternate endings YOUR SHIT OUT OF LUCK TOO!
