When The Children's Society report that there has been a "107% increase in children receiving emergency food this year," it's clear that children are going hungry now as a result of Government inattention - let alone at Christmas.

Demand that free school meals are extended to cover all school holidays, and demand that they are expanded to ensure that every child growing up in poverty in the UK does not have to face having to go to bed hungry.
