SUN EXC: Sir Keir Starmer under police investigation following car crash that hospitalised a cyclist on Sunday: thesun.co.uk/news/13029176/…
Police are probing the bike collision, which resulted in the rider being taken to hospital clutching an injured left arm.
Sir Keir exchanged details before leaving him in the care of paramedics... he later attended a police station in North London: thesun.co.uk/news/13029176/…
By the time two police cars arrived at the scene in Kentish Town, North West London, on Sunday lunchtime Sir Keir had left. Cops later left a message at his nearby home asking him to report to a police station. thesun.co.uk/news/13029176/…
Now it gets odd. Sir Keir was spotted on Mon morn outside the very police station he attended on Sunday afternoon. When asked outside his house shortly after - having changed his clothes and packing his car - he said he had been “visiting his tailor”. thesun.co.uk/news/13029176/…
Here is Sir Keir’s statement this evening - his spokesman insists he did not go back to cop shop Monday and was walking past on way back from tailoring session. And understand he’s texted the injured party yesterday and today.
Police say they were alerted by ambulance service.. Met investigation ongoing. thesun.co.uk/news/13029176/…

- ONE in six say they never watch the Beeb

- HALF believe you should not have to pay for the licence fee if you only watch non-BBC live television.
- YOUNGER adults aged 18-54 are significantly less likely than the over 55s to believe those that watch TV but never the BBC should have to pay for a Licence Fee.

Troops from 3 battalions will step-in if armed police are overstretched.

Plans seen by Sun show infantry soldiers, armed with SA80 assault rifles, ready to be drafted in.

500 troops will form the first wave of reinforcements with 12 hours notice to move, defence sources said.
Plan says: “There are 3: North, Midlands and South and in extremis they can be deployed in support of Covid MACA activity though their key role is armed support to the Police across UK." thesun.co.uk/news/12736363/…

EXCLUSIVE: The dirty tactics Brussels used on Northern Ireland that enraged London enough to push button on Withdrawal Agreement bombshell. thesun.co.uk/news/12618129/…
Under the terms of the WA export of "products of animal origin" such as meat, fish, shellfish, eggs and dairy from the UK mainland over to Northern Ireland will become subject to EU oversight - why they signed up to this, you may ask... but there we are......
EU has a “Third Country” list of approved nations that can legally import agricultural goods into areas subject to their rules.

The UK being on that list is assumed in deal scenario

Barnier’s team more than hinted the UK will not be given that legal status if talks collapse.
