Very heavy traffic developing as officers do traffic control on Abbott Drive. C-Shift officers hitting on duty and enroute.
"The South Long Term parking lot is full. Where are we going to send them?"
Pushing attendees to the Park and Go lots.
Some of these Eppley Officers need radio retraining.
"The Secret Service and the White House do not know who she is. She will not get access."
Officer 1: "The Park and Go North lot is the last one open. After that there is no other contingency plan that the White House staff has made for parking."
Officer 2: "After that are we just turning people away?"
The Governor has arrived.
Officers reporting around large numbers of cars in line to park and room is quickly running out.
The event is at capacity. Vehicles are being turned away.

Cell service has come to a grinding halt and is hindering police communications.

Fireworks heard in the area to the West. Officers checking the area. Some possible drone were sighted and ABLE-1 is searching the area.
DCSO Boat 1 has a vehicle parked on the East side of the river with its lights on.
Air Force 1 has touched down.
Eppley Police Chief and the Secret Service are having a pissing match.

Medical needed again by the press for a female having a seizure.

OPD Edward 1 advising officers on the fence line near Signature need to remain. People are trying to get upto the fence line to see in.
Boys Town 912 enroute to Lil' Creighton Code 2 with a 65 y/o male who "got a little excited about what President Trump was talking about" and began to experience weakness.
People still trying to get in. Event has concluded.
Delta Units requested for "possible problems regarding protesters."
Busses are shipping people out. Another medic needed for another seizure. Large groups are walking to their cars in the street.

Medics treating numerous parties with medical issues as they are walking out.
Waterloo 811 enroute to Lil' Creighton with a 71 y/o female who is dizzy.
Medics and OFD command being released from the scene. Officers requesting incident command find a warehouse or somewhere for people to stop to warm up who are walking their cars.
M78 enroute to Lil' Creighton with a 56 y/o patient who is fatigued.
OPD Traffic needs a bit of remedial training.
VFD Medics returning to the staging areas.
One medic reporting they are treating 4 patients.
Officers are giving elderly attendees who are struggling in the cold rides closer to their vehicles.
OPD taking charge of this shit show. Numerous MAT buses have been requested and are enroute.
A couple to a few thousand still need to leave the venue. Roaming officers are checking for cold people walking. Medics treating a couple other people with cold feet.
Douglas County 911 Northeast Precinct Dispatch advising they are now receiving calls from the public who say the elderly need assistance.
20 empty busses are stuck in the South Economy parking lot.

Waterloo VFD medic reports 4 patients treated for cold exposure with no transports to hospital required.
One officer advising 8 to 9 elderly people who are struggling. Seperate officer advising they have located an elderly party who is frozen cold unable to move with an altered mental status.
Another officer advising they have an elderly male down.
Busses streaming into the area now.
Additional officers being deployed to parking lots to assist with pushing out empty busses. Traffic Unit officers are turning away the additional assistance because they are on a different channel and are unaware of the request for additional assistance.
OPD Edward 1 working on taking over and fixing the traffic problems. Officers in the South Lot can hear the radio but can not talk on it due to newly discovered radio problems.
8 to 10 busses are stuck in the South lot.
For reference, it's around a 3.7 mile walk from TAC Air to the South Economy parking lot at Eppley.

Waterloo Medic 811 enroute to Lil' Creighton Code 2 with a 68 y/o male who's initial complaint was possible hypothermia and altered mental status. He is alert and oriented and shivering. Unable to obtain a temp. due to a broken thermometer.
Officers picking up people wandering in the cold unable to locate their vehicles and are taking them to various parking lots.
📸 Officers continue to direct extremely heavy traffic in frigid conditions.
Officers who do not have an assignment are going around to parking lots to pick up stranded people and attempt to locate their vehicles. Airport maintenance vehicles also assisting.
📸 Lines of chartered busses and a few city busses continue to drop off people. The majority of people have been picked up from the rally site. Most crowds are now in various parking lots.
For anyone following who is unfamiliar with Omaha. Eppley Airfield sits on the Northeast corner of Omaha and is separated from Iowa by the Missouri River. TAC Air is on the East side of Eppley Airfield. The parking is mostly on the West.
Officers reporting most parking lots are clear. Very little pedestrian traffic. Vehicle traffic is returning to some normalcy. Officers continue to assist the public in locating their lost vehicles.
Officers assisting a male in a wheelchair in the South parking lot find his lost ADA van.
Event site has been cleared. Majority of parking lots have been cleared. Little to no pedestrian traffic. Most officers are returning to service and going home.
#MedicalBranch of #TACAirIC demobilizing and reports they will give an official confirmed count of the number of patient contacts and patient transports to airport authorities and command tomorrow. The previous numbers given remain unconfirmed numbers from scanner traffic.
