THIS SCOTUS DECISION IS A victory for PA voters whose late arriving ballots will now be counted. AND, it happened because newest justice AMY CONEY BARRETT RECUSED HERSELF. In this election, every victory in every state counts enormously.

CNN's reporting on the SCOTUS decision rebuffing the GOP's renewed attempt at voter suppression in PA - a decision even more remarkable because Trump's rushed through "judicial asset" Amy Coney Barrett RECUSED HERSELF.

NOTE: The decision may only result in a temporary protection of voters' rights. Hopefully, the decision will stay in effect long enough to allow all the mail in votes in PA to be counted. Also, the decision may not have been the DIRECT result of Barrett's recusal (but who knows).
CORRECTION: As the decision was 5-3, Barrett's non-participation may not have directly caused the victory. It may have had an indirect effect, however. Also, there is ambiguity regarding whether Barrett's non-participation was technically a "recusal." More to come.

1/ LEGAL AUTHORITIES AGREE A SITTING PRESIDENT CAN BE INDICTED! The testimony of credible witnesses, documents resulting from subpoenas & Trump's own Tweets have created a huge body of evidence of Trump's criminality before & after he became president. It's time to INDICT Trump.
2/ Three things can end the Trump presidency: if he's INDICTED, impeached or voted out in 2020 by everyone voting Blue. The most immediate path is INDICTMENT for federal & state crimes the evidence of which is abundant. This thread addresses INDICTMENT of a sitting president.

1/ HOW DEMS CAN DEFEAT TRUMP. No one will indict Trump. That leaves impeachment. Nancy Pelosi & others fear impeachment unless there's an "airtight case." Trump's greatest fear is release of his tax returns. That is where the "airtight case" of criminality lies.
2/ So, the path to impeaching Trump lies in getting his tax returns. Federal law says the House Ways & Means Committee, chaired by Dem Richard Neal, is entitled to those returns. New York State passed a law that when signed by Governor Cuomo will give Congress Trump's returns.
3/ There is one person, a Democrat, standing between Congress & the American public & Trump's tax returns.

THAT PERSON IS RICHARD NEAL, CHAIR OF THE WAYS & MEANS COMMITTEE.

TO IMPEACH TRUMP, WE MUST FIRST LIGHT A FIRE UNDER RICHARD NEAL.
