THIS SCOTUS DECISION IS A victory for PA voters whose late arriving ballots will now be counted. AND, it happened because newest justice AMY CONEY BARRETT RECUSED HERSELF. In this election, every victory in every state counts enormously. nbcnews.com/politics/supre…
CNN's reporting on the SCOTUS decision rebuffing the GOP's renewed attempt at voter suppression in PA - a decision even more remarkable because Trump's rushed through "judicial asset" Amy Coney Barrett RECUSED HERSELF. cnn.com/2020/10/28/pol…
NOTE: The decision may only result in a temporary protection of voters' rights. Hopefully, the decision will stay in effect long enough to allow all the mail in votes in PA to be counted. Also, the decision may not have been the DIRECT result of Barrett's recusal (but who knows).
CORRECTION: As the decision was 5-3, Barrett's non-participation may not have directly caused the victory. It may have had an indirect effect, however. Also, there is ambiguity regarding whether Barrett's non-participation was technically a "recusal." More to come.

3/ Use the SCROLLING TABLE at this useful @axios website to learn when EARLY VOTING STARTS in your state (you will be surprised at how many states have early voting) and how to vote by mail. THIS IS HOW WE WIN - despite Trump's dirty tricks! axios.com/how-to-vote-by…
1/ When Trump announced that children are "almost immune" to COVID he engaged in a calculated lie. To the contrary, children do contract COVID in large numbers; they do suffer profoundly serious physical and neurological harm and they can transmit the disease others.
2/ A study of nearly 65,000 people in South Korea suggests that school re-openings will trigger more outbreaks as older children spread the coronavirus just as much as adults this large study found.
3/ Children younger than 5 have between 10 and 100 times more genetic material from the novel coronavirus in their noses compared to older children and to adults, according to a small study published Thursday in the journal JAMA Pediatrics.
1/ LEGAL AUTHORITIES AGREE A SITTING PRESIDENT CAN BE INDICTED! The testimony of credible witnesses, documents resulting from subpoenas & Trump's own Tweets have created a huge body of evidence of Trump's criminality before & after he became president. It's time to INDICT Trump.
2/ Three things can end the Trump presidency: if he's INDICTED, impeached or voted out in 2020 by everyone voting Blue. The most immediate path is INDICTMENT for federal & state crimes the evidence of which is abundant. This thread addresses INDICTMENT of a sitting president.
3/ Despite whatever Trump, the GOP and the MSM may say the following is true and correct: (1) The Constitution does not prohibit INDICTMENT; (2) No law prohibits INDICTMENT; (3) No DOJ written rule prohibits INDICTMENT; & (4) No formal written DOJ policy prohibits INDICTMENT.
1/ HOW DEMS CAN DEFEAT TRUMP. No one will indict Trump. That leaves impeachment. Nancy Pelosi & others fear impeachment unless there's an "airtight case." Trump's greatest fear is release of his tax returns. That is where the "airtight case" of criminality lies.
2/ So, the path to impeaching Trump lies in getting his tax returns. Federal law says the House Ways & Means Committee, chaired by Dem Richard Neal, is entitled to those returns. New York State passed a law that when signed by Governor Cuomo will give Congress Trump's returns.
3/ There is one person, a Democrat, standing between Congress & the American public & Trump's tax returns.
THAT PERSON IS RICHARD NEAL, CHAIR OF THE WAYS & MEANS COMMITTEE.
TO IMPEACH TRUMP, WE MUST FIRST LIGHT A FIRE UNDER RICHARD NEAL.
1/ Quoting the Philly Inquirer: "The timidity of Democrats in response to Trump’s take-no-prisoners approach is disappointing, even after watching decades of battered-dog politics from the center-left. The slow-motion House Democratic . . . " (con't)
2/ "strategy of finally issuing some subpoenas after several months in power, then watching them get ignored and finally tied up in court as the clock ticks toward the 2020 election appears hopeless in the face of all-out Roy Cohn-ism." (con't)
3/ "And yet the Democrats are politically terrified of using the only power that matches Trump’s tactics – an impeachment inquiry, and the expanded powers that flow from that."
