Breaking: @jeremycorbyn suspended from Labour for his blandly factual statement today: "the scale of the problem was also dramatically overstated for political reasons by our opponents inside and outside the party, as well as by much of the media"
What a disgrace. But many, many of @jeremycorbyn's supporters warned him since 2016 this day was coming.

Instead he listened to siren voices on the fake left who successfully steered him onto a political suicidal course of indulging the smears.

What a pity.
What this goes to show is what we've been saying all along: it's useless and damaging to indulge these smears and pretend there is a major "anti-Semitism problem" when there isn't one.

But some people will never learn it seems.
It honestly gives me no pleasure to day this: but I told you so. As did many others, including three-quarters of Labour's membership and 92 percent of Momentum members: electronicintifada.net/blogs/asa-wins…

Breaking: the EHRC has failed to find Labour "institutionally anti-Semitic" as requested by the @JewishLabour Movement in its referral last year.
Breaking: the EHRC, after a 17-month investigation into alleged institutional anti-Semitism has found only TWO cases of what it says were "unlawful acts" towards Jews.
Here's the *key* quote from the EHRC report: it shows what this deeply compromised pro-Tory body considers to be "anti-Semitic harassment of Jews".

The smear campaign against critics of Israel has always had this insane circular logic.

In a defamatory article for Bristol student rag @TheTab, their features editor @SabriSun_Miller demands the university fires Bristol professor David Miller (@Tracking_Power) for making "controversial comments about Israel" which make her "uncomfortable".

Poisonous McCarthyism.
I refuse to link to her article because it's honestly pure trash. Full of the usual lies about supposed left-wing anti-Semitism. With an extra CampusWatch-style McCarthyist twist, which is quite chilling.
According to @SabriSun_Miller, the idea that a Zionist movement exists is "invented" -- perhaps she should try telling the Zionist Federation and their many affiliates (such as the @JewishLabour Movement) that they are "invented" and see how that goes.

The hidden toll of Labour's manufactured anti-Semitism "crisis" on left-wing Jews:

One "has taken an overdose following expulsion from the party. 'Notices of Investigation' sent to party members include a telephone number for the Samaritans." middleeasteye.net/big-story/labo…
George Wilmers says his mistreatment by Labour is antisemitism: "I have been targeted as a Jew by fanatical persons who hold that political support for the ethnocratic nature of the actually existing state of Israel is an essential characteristic of being Jewish."
After being apparently reported to the party by London Assembly candidate and JLM activist @mrwtch, retired QC Stephen Solley is defiant: "If they really want to expel the Jewish former chair of the Bar Human Rights Committee, so be it."

NEW: A group of leading Palestinian citizens of Britain have written to the Labour Party insisting on their right to oppose Zionism, and insisting it's racist to say they can't: electronicintifada.net/blogs/asa-wins…
Will @jeremycorbyn support this British Palestinian call to end the "shrinking space" for their rights in the Labour Party?
It's been more than a week and @jeremycorbyn still hasn't said a word about this open letter by British Palestinians (including a former Labour councillor) objecting to their censorship by the Labour Party electronicintifada.net/blogs/asa-wins…

Just got off the phone with one of the @Pal_action activists holding a sit-in on the roof of the Shenstone factory owned by Israeli drone maker @ElbitSystemsLtd.

This small group has managed to shutter this death-factory for three days running now! Direct action works.
.@ElbitSystemsLtd market their weapons as “field-tested” on Palestinian civilians in Gaza

The activists are demanding "all Elbit Systems sites to be shut down in the UK, and an end to UK complicity with Israeli apartheid".
The activist told me that police have been illegally barring protesters gathering outside to express support for the sit-in.

Police have even harassed passers-by who beeped car horns in support! Pulling them over and "pushing and threatening cyclists".

How a rogue inquiry by a Labour staffer with close ties to the Israeli embassy triggered Labour’s “anti-Semitism crisis”.

Read my latest investigative piece: electronicintifada.net/content/bogus-…
“As I recall, what I actually said was that there is ‘influence wielded over elections by high net-worth individuals.’ I would never blame this on Jewish people.”

The level of fabrication and lies in this sorry story knows no bounds.
It seems it was Labour's anti-Corbyn right who were actually guilty of real anti-Semitism: according to an anonymous student quoted in the Rubin report, right-winger David Klemperer allegedly said to a student: “You’re exactly the sort who should’ve died in the Holocaust”.
