MISSISSIPPI COME THROUGH: join me in calling Anita Wray, Madison County Circuit Clerk @ (601) 859-4365 to question her on this blatant act of #VoterSupression
After you read @ashtonpittman's original thread ^ for the quick facts, consider these questions for Anita Wray, Spence Flatguard (Madison Co. Election attorney), or whoever tf they redirect you to:
1. How many voting booths will be provided to The Mark Apartments precinct?
1a. (in case they still ~aren't sure exactly how many will be available~) When WILL you know how many voting booths will be provided to this precinct?
2. What plans are in place to expand parking at The Mark apartments precinct?
3. What plans are in place to avoid long voting lines on Nov. 3rd?
4. Have you coordinated with @RidgelandPolice and/or other election officials to ensure pedestrian and traffic safety near The Mark apartments precinct?
If he/she/it doesn't have clear, detailed answers or plans, call them back until they do.
Anita Wray: Madison Co. Circuit Clerk: (601) 859-4365
UPDATE: Today I learned that Anita Wray must be REAL busy helping other Madison Co. voters, bc she sure ain’t busy answering the phone or helping the majority black & brown voting precinct she sneakily rezoned.
I learned more productive things too, but it’s bad to rage b4 bed.

Yesterday, I just had to see for myself. I visited the voting precinct in Madison County’s 1st District at The Mark apartments' clubhouse/leasing office in NE Ridgeland that was recently and quietly rezoned to double its voter occupancy. (Re: @ashtonpittman / @MSFreePress )
The Mark property manager, Sidtaya Jones, told me that Helen Carney (District 1 commissioner) had come by one time "months before" and one time THIS week. Carney told Jones that they will have five voting machines at this precinct.
I asked Jones if Carney had mentioned plans to expand parking. None. I asked her if Carney had mentioned if there’ll be a police presence. Jones said yes, but Carney gave her no further details about a plan of action. Carney only mentioned she'll put up signs on Monday.
