Sadly, another individual has passed away w/COVID. She was a woman in her 90s from York Co.
2/We offer her friends, family, and community our condolences during this time. Her passing marks the 147th death in Maine w/#COVID19.
5517 individuals have recovered (+22).
3/Right now in Maine, 27 people are hospitalized w/#COVID19. That is a very significant and concerning increase.
7 are in the ICU and one on a ventilator.
4/31% of yesterday’s #COVID19 cases in #Maine were from Cumberland County, 17% from York, 11% from Somerset.
6/#COVID19 testing volume is increasing--a good sign.
It is now 552 PCR tests/100K people.
7/Taken together, these #COVID19 data are deeply concerning.

146 individuals have died w/COVID (=) and 5495 have recovered (+33).
2/Hospitalizations are up recently. Right now, 17 people are in the hospital w/#COVID19. 5 are in the ICU and 1 is on a ventilator.
In the past 30 days, 31 people have been hospitalized.
3/In terms of distribution, 42.7% of yesterday's #COVID19 cases were from Cumberland County. 11% and 10% cases were from Somerset and York Counties, respectively.
