Here is the Part-II of #SPB as MD in the years 1985-86 where he composed music for 8 Telugu, 2 Kannada and BGM for 1 Hindi movie.

1985 is an eventful year for #SPBalasubrahmanyam , he gets to score 6 Telugu films - Mayuri, Kongumudi, Jackie, Bangaru Chilaka, Muddula Manavaralu, Dongallo Dora and 1 Kannada movie Devarelliddane #spblivesforever

Let's start off with Mayuri, the awesome combination of Ramoji Rao, Singeetam Srinivasa Rao and SPB. The whole jukebox is listen worthy, Veturi Lyrics, S. Janaki doing most of the singing and 1 song by SP Sailaja (Ee Padam) which was reused in Hindi where #spb was not credited.

All the songs in this movie are my favorites, but this one is always on repeat

[Off Topic] Mayuri was the first Biopic movie where the person on whom the Biopic is based has acted, other film in Telugu is Ashwini again produced by Ramoji Rao, which is based on track and field athlete Ashwini Nachappa.

Mayuri was dubbed into Tamil & Malayalam, remade into Hindi as Naache Mayuri (1986) for which Laxmikant - Pyarelal have composed music, LP won Sur Singar Samsad's Best Classical Composition, SPB was only credited for BGM though they reused 1 song
